Seven years ago, Michael Howard installed both our a/c and heating units, they've both run flawlessly ever since. The only reason we needed him out this time was due to a pesky rat sneaking into our attic and causing an issue. Michael responded to an inquiry I had about setting up a portable fire pit that was giving me trouble igniting. To be safe, I wanted a professional to come take a look as these things can be very dangerous. I originally had another company booked, but canceled them as they made me feel ridiculous for my inquiry and when Michael called me, his demeanor and professionalism resonated with me so I canceled the other company and had him come instead.

Silly me it was just a part issue on the item (not related to gas set-up at all)--but he was so patient and took the time to help. I am new to home owning so will definitely be using him as my go-to if I run into an plumbing or heating issues. He was quick, professional, honest, capable and kind. And highly recommend!

I just saw this delivery truck hit a motorcycle then yelled at him. stopped traffic to yell at the man on the bike. I'm my options the work truck was going too fast in traffic. do not recommend this abusive company, no concern for safety of others. this shows this is a defensive company that will not acknowledge when they are at fault. blessings

I had an old floor furnace malfunction and hired Michael Howard Plumbing & Heating to inspect and give an estimate. Michael informed me that my Ward brand 1930's furnace had a faulty ignition control module and that I needed a new pilot light and commented that my gas line looked quite large, showed me video of it. I'm no expert so I was very concerned. His quote came in at $2,300.00.

I asked him to hold off, called around and found another licensed and bonded local plumber/heater repairman that installed a new igniter kit. Turns out I did not need a new pilot and my gas line connected to my furnace was of normal standard size. $415.00 total cost with labor and in one hour it was cranking out the heat, I was overjoyed to not have gotten suckered!

Michael took advantage that I was a single woman, homeowner. Not only did he attempt to price gouge me but insinuated that my gas line was overly large.

Fire is the most devastating thing that could happen to anyone so I found it appalling that he would lie and try to scare me into spending $2,300.00.

Our heating unit was blasting hot air into the kitchen and the rest of the house was freezing. We used Angie's List and Home Advisor to find a heating professional. Michael Howard was well reviewed so we left word for him and he called right back and made an appointment for 2 days later. The the inspection is free, service charge of $85.00 if he needs to fix something. Nice guy, good-natured, cheerful, he was on time and brought an assistant. Michael walked around our house with us to get a sense of the air flow and pointed out all the things wrong with the way the furnace and ducts had been installed. Who knew? He made a couple of adjustments to the furnace and to the vents in the other rooms, tested it and presto! It's so much better. Our disposal had also been broken for about a month despite our efforts to get it going. He took a look, touched something and presto! It now works. We felt like idiots but he was very gracious about it. Very good visit and I will definitely hire him again.
