This review isn't about actual work performed. We never got to that stage. I requested a quote to replace a kitchen faucet. I was quoted $125 an hour. I informed the rep that I already had the faucet and the water supply lines for the install. I was then told that my hourly rate is now $150 an hour since I had my own parts. When I asked the reasoning why the change in price, I was told it because they need to charge me for parts (that I had already purchased).

This used to be a great company but I wish I'd read the reviews before having them to come by to replace a kitchen faucet. They charged $350 for a faucet that you can see on Amazon for $219. Was in a bind so went ahead with it but $550 for replacing a faucet? And they said they did me a favor by not charging more!

Review is not for plumbing work, never got to that point. This is supposed to be a professional business, not some one man show. So I expected a professional response. I'm remodeling my house in Miami Shores. I called them on 6/27 (Mon) and talked with Junior. Told him I need my house completely replumbed, a toilet and shower relocated, a new shower pan, a new on-demand water heater, and a new service supply line from the meter to the house. Not a small job by any means. I send him the project plans as he requested. The following day he emails saying he's working on a quote for me. Three (3) days later (Fri 6/30) I receive an email from Jose saying he needs to visit the work site to inspect sewer lines before he can accurately quote the job. I replied by email and said I could meet him anytime. I followed up with a phone call. He agrees to meet me between 1-3pm that afternoon. 3pm comes and goes, not a word from them. He never showed and never called. I emailed both Jose and Junior early this morning (Wed 7/5) and asked if they wanted to try again. As of 1pm, no response. I get that sometimes jobs run longer or people get tied up in traffic and run late. But there's no excuse to not call if you're not going to make an appt. Geez, even Comcast has a better response rate. I'll take my $$$ plumbing job to someone who actually wants the business.

i used them last july on a pipe leak in my bathroom wall... first when i asked about a permit from north bay village the attitude was , why? they did the job , replaced the tub...there non plumbers who did the cosmetic repair were fair at best. now i didn't use this tub until hurricane matthew in October... the drain wasn't set right and my poor neighbor underneath had a leak again. i called them at 8 am and they repaired it at 830 am. for this i give them credit outstanding credit. but i cant justify using them again after the drain wasn't set properly, or the fact i had to reset the sliding tub doors.

Totally overpriced. Get a second opinion. They wanted over $1,000.00 to fix a leak that my brother fixed for $30.00. RIPOFF. And the charge $150.00 an hour, even if they're only there for 20 mins.

I hired Miami Shores Plumbing to fix a leak in the plumbing system in my house. I paid them 4,000 dollars to lay out new pipe to fix the problem and it worked for 6-8 weeks. The leak has re-emerged after a couple of weeks. I called them to take care of it, but now they want to charge an additional 1,800 dollars to fix it. Please do yourselves a favor and don't let them rip you off!

Miami Shores Plumbing is by far, the best plumbing company I've ever dealt with. Hot water heater went out at home and I called around. They made an appointment with me and were on time. Old equipment was removed and new was installed. No mess to clean up. The technician was a pleasant guy. Of course, I hope I never need another plumber but I'll call them again if I do. You don't get this kind of service anymore in South Florida.

Called MSP for an emergency over the weekend for a flood in my property and they did not only come rapidly and solve my issue, they followed up and had great customer service. I highly recommend Armando (also known as Jose) as your plumber. Very efficient!!!! Thanks!!!!

These guys totally saved my butt!! Pun intended... Seriously though, I live in Miami Shores and needed fast and affordable service. A friend recommended Miami Shores Plumbing and I never looked back!

I've been ripped off for the last time by MSP. Been using them for years over the past 10 years for my 2 businesses and my personal home. 2 months to fix my shower and a $2000 bill? I let it go and moved on. $15000 bill for a bill to my business for excavating the wrong direction even though plans were hand delivered to you. Also forgiven. Now a bill for $900 to fix a dishwasher and to fix an electric hand sink? It finally made me boil over and see the light. Everyone needs to stay away from this company unless you are in need to fill their money pit. Thank me later.
