My home warranty company sent this company out to service my AC. The person M & Holmes sent out was an older gentleman. The first thing he said to me was he had a heart condition and couldn't do any work in attics. Needless to say my AC was not fixed. When I contacted the warranty company and asked for them to send someone out to actually fix my unit they told me I had to stay with M & Holme. They canceled the 2nd appointment they scheduled and the technician never showed on the 3rd appointment. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPAN!!! They have no respect for your time

American home shield had them come out for service repair in April. Her we are in late June and they said the part is just coming in! Scheduled to put part/ heating ac unit in for tuesday. The incompetent lady says she called another number and rescheduled, but i gave her my new number when i made initial appointment? I then called to complain to ahs and they called the lady/company.. who then lies and states she called my new number and rescheduled? What liars they have running this company! Let's see what happens on friday, which is so called rescheduled day. I am sooo pissed thus far!

Very unprofessional! if I could give them a 0 I would! I guess Michelle didn't wake up on the right side of the bed because she was very nasty ignorant and unprofessional..How do you get an attitude because a customer couldn't answer the phone?? my claim was submitted to them two weeks before they Even tried to contact me..not to mention .. thank God my home warranty had better options to offer because there's no way I would think of using them

This business will take a service fee and never come back out to finish the job. If you have 210 Home Insurance and they recommend this business, save yourself the headache and decline and ask for another company!

My heater that they replace though American Home Sheild has not work right and they replace it in Nov and it's March now. I would not refer these people to no one.. Please do your research.....

I would leave zero stars if possible. M&Holmes won the contract from American Home Shield to fix my mother's leaking HVAC Ducts. Tom refused to go under the crawl space to check the ducts at all, and then stated that he fixed and completed the job. We placed another work order cause clearly this was not the case. They next day they called to schedule the appointment again and the staff was rude as if it was our fault they didn't complete the job. The job was scheduled again and Tom never showed up, after trying to reach the company via their listed phone number and cell number provided by AHS to no avail I reached back out to AHS. Suddenly we received a call from Tom stating that he was not coming back out to the house to complete the job. He claim he feared for his life by going under the crawl space because of hanging wires, mind you he never went under the house in the first place, so how would you know there were hanging wires. Mind you the day before his original appointment we had our semi-annual HVAC system checkup by 1 Hour Heating company, who had no issues going under the crawl space and did not report any dangers (and they report every little thing they find in their report). So I guess why bid on Duct work jobs if you are not capable or willing to complete them. I bet if we said that we were going to $15,000 to replace all the duct work Mr. Tom and M&Holmes would have no issue going under the crawl space then. I can't speak for the rest of their jobs but if you need HVAC Duct work done I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL.

If you are assigned M&Holmes Contracting by your home warranty company, ask to be reassigned immediately.

I put in a request with my home warranty to have the pipe coming from my washing machine snaked. M&Holmes was assigned and they set an appointment 2 weeks out. Everything went fine at first. They were a little late from the arrival time the tracker gave but nothing outrageous. Three different plumbers showed up and told me I needed a new vent installed. They said over and over how it would be a quick easy job and should only take about 30 minutes of work. The guy who said he was the owner said he wasn't sure if my home warranty would approve the vent and that snaking would be a temporary solution. Everything was fine when the left. He said I should hear from them within a couple days.

I waited a week to hear from M&Holmes but received no call. I called the and asked for an update and was told that they needed to install a vent and it would take 3 hours of work and $125 in parts. I asked if they had contacted my home warranty and she said no they would do so and call me back. I waited almost a week to call back and they still had not contacted my home warranty company. It took almost a week of calling every other day before someone finally contacted my home warranty company.

I received a call from 2-10 (The home warranty company) saying that the vent had been denied but the snaking had been approved. I called M&Holmes back to set u an appointment for the snaking.

First the woman tried to tell me that service was denied. I told her what 2-10 said. She then tried to tell me the work had been done already. I don't know where she got that from since they had not been back to my home since the diagnoses. Once i convinced her no work had been done, she went back to saying the service was denied by my home warranty. I went to call 2-10 then noticed I had an email about the approval for the snaking. I called M&Holmes back and offered to forward them the email. By this time I think they were frustrated with me calling because the woman was very short and rude.

I waited a couple days before calling back to check up on it and was told again that 2-10 said it was denied. I spoke with someone different this time and she promised to have it looked into. I received a call from 2-10 not too long after. They told me they spoke with a woman plumber who said they did not suggest snaking my drain because it would make the problem worse. No one told me this throughout the many phone calls I had with M&Holmes. The initial plumbers that actually came out to my home said the exact opposite.. I told the 2-10 rep this and had her look into the notes. She saw the original diagnoses and that I had indeed been approved to have the snaking done by 2-10.

After having M&Holmes finally acknowledge that the work had been approved they said they won't take the job because they are too busy. THEY DRAGGED THIS OUT FOR OVER A MONTH TO SAY THEY WON'T DO THE WORK BECAUSE THEY ARE TOO BUSY!

TLDR: Stay away from this company they dragged a situation out for a month and made up stories to not do the work only to say they were too busy when they couldn't lie their way out of it.

Terrible. Avoid at all costs. American Home Sheild Home Warrenty required us to use this company. M.M. Holmes never call us back afer 2 months of calling home warrenty compaby - we decided to pay out-of-pocket.

Upstairs AC was not running efficiently. Used M&H through my home warranty plan. Came out quickly and diagnosed the problem which was great. However, took forever to get the part. Came back to the house but everything was running normal that day so no fix that day. 2 days later AC problematic again. Contacted M&H...left voicemail. No response. Called back again and talked to someone. Told me the worker would not be in ""my area"" for at least 2 weeks but she would call me the next day to set something up. Heard nothing. Called back again after a week and left a voicemail and still not heard back. Went with another provider instead.
