We recently had our swamp cooler converted over to 2 AC units from Signature. The work we had done was very labor intensive and took more man power to complete. The workers - about 6 or 8 came the 1st day to remove the old swamp cooler units and put in the 2 new AC Units. The sales rep had told us one thing. But, the workers told us something very different. We were confused on why one was tell us one thing and the other was telling us another. We were also told we would not be able to run the AC units until the PNM inspectors were able to come out - which would be in early July, so we were to go 1 month with no Swamp or AC unit. They were able to get 1 of the AC units up and working. However, we had to wait until the end of July to get the panel upgraded and PNM inspection done before they would be able to turn on the 2nd AC unit. At the end of June they came out to do the panel upgrade, all I was told from the phone scheduler was that it would be 1 day. It was about 12 hrs we were without power - no fans, no nothing. The refrigerator's kept the food cold / frozen all day, which I was very thankful for. However, 12 hrs with no fan or any type of AC unit was a very long and hot day. I don't think they communicated time lines - how long this day was to take or how long this was to take very well with us. One person told us this another person told us that. I don't think they have the 'finished' look correct. WE have exposed wiring outside the house. WE had to change out the cover plates and tape the walls from the holes that had been left by changing the switch plates locations. They never removed the swamp thermostats. We the home owner had to fix that. We are to receive free pads and so far we haven't received any free ones.
Until yesterday I had 5-star experience with Signature. As of yesterday, I will never use them again. One star is too many!
I have two rental properties. I called to have them go to Property A, they showed up at Property B. They told me I gave them the wrong address, only to admit later that I had, in fact, given them the correct address, TWICE. Amanda lied to me and told me I made the mistake, all the while knowing Signature made the mistake. They show up unannounced at Property B, and bully their way in, with my tenant completely surprised they are there - when they are not supposed to be. (I have amazing tenants and great working relationships with them, they always know when I send service people out.) Signature technicians begin doing work they were absolutely not authorized to do, blaming my tenant for items not installed correctly, with my tenant doing his best to defend himself and explain that other Signature employees had misinstalled those items. Technicians continued to bully and blame my tenant despite his every objection. In the process of doing work they were not supposed to be doing, they broke personal property of my tenant due to carelessly throwing a filter across the room. They did not apologize. When my tenant called Signature to complain, he was informed that NO SIGNATURE PERSONNEL had been dispatched to Property B that day, and that he was lying. My tenant was threatened and told to provide video proving they had been there. He went online and found a photo of the Signature employees in question, in uniform, and forced Signature to admit that their employees had, in fact, been at Property B. In speaking with General Manager Sky, he called the mistakes and outright lying a ""Comedy of Errors."" He did not follow through on commitments he gave me. At every mistake, instead of owning up and fixing things, Signature lied and blamed myself and my tenant. We spoke with or worked with at least 6 Signature employees and none were honest or trustworthy. I have instructed tenants at both of my properties that if Signature ever shows up again, they are to call the Police, immediately. I am working with the Better Business Bureau and will be contacting Costco to have their contract revoked. This business believes that good Customer Service means bullying, lying, and threatening customers. RUN, DO NOT WALK!
Honestly garbage company. Had issues with a mini split they found the leak I told them I had a warranty with the company and they insured me when I got the new inverter (outside unit) in they would install it and pressure test it and make sure it's good. Called them when I got it in and now they're refusing to work on the unit.
James R.Dishonest company. Their quote for a new HVAC unit was more than twice other reputable dealers. That said, they can charge what they want. What was terrible about them is that they lied about 'changes to electrical regulations' in the state yet when asked what changes took place, they couldn't refer to any. This company employs fear tactics to compel potential customer to work with them. When I spoke with their production manager, he claimed my ignorance. Horrible service and dishonest company, stay away.
Don't believe the advertisement on TV, nothing is for free. They advertise specials but never mention them when providing an estimate. Their estimate was $6000 to $12000 over our lowest bid.
So frustrating to deal with this company. They installed it wrong the first time and they had to come out again to do it right. Now on my third visit to try to get things right. I was just told when I set the appointment that I could not be given a window arrival time, but instead needed to set the whole day6 aside for them to show up at their convenience. I will Never buy from this company again. Never.
Cyn P.I called on a Friday afternoon and asked that a technician come out and give me a quote to fix an issue caused by a different plumber. I was told that the tech that came out would call in advance. Sure enough, Monday morning first thing I got a call and the tech was there promptly. He listened to my request for varied estimates and then offered to email them to me. I was given the option of purchasing my or hardware or not - and that I appreciated.
After shopping around a bit, I ordered the parts and picked them up the following day. Then I called to schedule the repair work. The tech was going out of town, but he put me as a #1 priority and came out the same day. I could not have waited! He was so patient, even when the shut off water leaked and caused him headaches (the city did the water shutoff). In the end, I was completely awed by the technician's standard of work, his willingness to entertain my input, and best of all that he stayed until the job was done.
I will always call upon Signature in the future and will recommend them to others.
Ty S.I am pretty upset with this company. The first issue was in 2019 of April we bought our house and found that the plumbing needed to be replaced. Our plumber told us they were going to replace the entire outgoing sewer line into the street and also replace our water line. They misrepresented themselves and did not in fact replace the last 2'9"" of orange berg piping at the end of the street. Last year in the fall we began having issues with our sewer lines clogging and the plumber continued to tell me we had to replace our toilet paper and that the end of our line was catching and there's nothing they can do. After 4-5 calls for having our lines snaked, I called TLC who informed me that the orange berg pipe was still existent at the very end of our line and was never replaced. I had TLC replace that.
Then, before I had TLC replace the piping October 2020, we had an AC system installed. The two installers informed me they were moving the air filter to the main floor and after repeated reassurance from the installer I was told the filter was removed under the house and new ones reinstalled above. The city inspector informed me the air filter was still there with the old filter still in it! I called them and finally they came out and fixed it.
At this point I am not trusting this company. I further tried calling them today to follow up on why no one showed to check on the AC unit as someone was supposed to come by this past Friday. I had no call about a cancellation and now I cannot get through to speak to someone when I call their line.
This company has misrepresented themselves and also cost me money.
i can't recommend this company because they do not get back in contact with us and refused to consider our ongoing issues with our heating and a.c. system since the builder install it. we were told several times that someone would call us back, but no one did. alan garcia did an excellent job explaining our issues with drywall dust in our ducts and equipment done by our builder, twilight homes. all the companies that we have contacted and come to the house about our issues all say this is a preoccupy issue done by the builder. would never purchase any lennox products ever again. we were told it could cost us out of pocket anywhere from $20,000 to $30,000 to replace all heating and cooling and ducts to get rid of our problem. the main issue with signature is no one contacted me as they said they would. had a service contract with signature will not renew and purchase anything from signaure heating and cooling.
Signature installed 2 air conditioner units for $22,000 2 years ago. Now they decide they won't service the units in the town where I live. ""Too far."" Wow. I didnt live too far when they installed their overpriced system. Very disappointed.
