I've been using them for a few years now and never had any issues, so my review is long overdue. They are reasonably priced, punctual and efficient. I highly recommend them!

Santos has to come out to our home twice due to no fault of his own. The problem that was reported to us ended up being worse than expected so a part had to be ordered. Santos also switched out our washing machine pan for us. Santos was courteous and punctual. The hot water tank repair was completed 4 days sooner than quoted. We highly recommend them. Excellent service, excellent price!

I highly recommend Santos at Metropolitan Repairs. On a Saturday night while we were out of town, our pet sitter alerted us to a leaking water heater. Santos responded to our emergency call, drained the broken heater immediately, and replaced it by the time we got home. He saved us a significant amount of money and aggravation.

I used Metropolitan Repairs to install plumbing for a washer and dryer in my basement. Santos returned my call immediately and came over the same afternoon to give me an estimate. The estimate was good. The work was done in a very professional, neat and timely manner. Everyone involved was insured and licensed. I would highly recommend this company! When the appliances were delivered Santos came back to the house to make sure that the delivery people had hooked up the washer and dryer correctly. Everything is working beautifully!

After leaving my review here and on Angie's list, this company had the audacity to reply saying I demanded free service or I would write a bad review. I wanted to come to an agreement and at no time demanded free service. They offered their current Angie's list offer to give me a normal faucet, not a discount or anything. I am sorry but I paid $350 for a faucet that was not supposed to freeze and it did not make one winter. I am disgusted by this company that they would attempt to lie on a company response and that they did not bother to try to take any blame for this issue. So I further support my prior review that this company should not be trusted for their service or chosen product, because clearly you will not get any customer service.

The owner of this company, Santos, came out yesterday to fix the hose bib in my front yard. It had been leaking badly for the last few summers and I finally decided to get it fixed. I had also been having problems with a very leaky shower faucet as well though, so I asked him to take a look at it. He found that the pipe was leaking, and he cut out and replaced the pipe and the fixture itself for a very reasonable price. He was incredibly thorough and knowledgeable, and when he found that the first repair of the shower faucet still had a slight leak to it, he took the whole thing back apart and fixed it again - always checking to make sure the leak was completely gone. When he finished that job, he also went out to the backyard and fixed that hose bib as well, as both had sustained some level of freeze damage over the years and were leaking as a result. He was very personable, reasonably priced, and incredibly efficient. I learned from talking with him that he has lived all over the world and is amazingly well schooled in current world events and world history. He even has a degree in mechanical engineering - which explains his competence and attention to detail. I will hire him again whenever I need another plumber!
