I was notified on June 22, 2023 by American Home Shield that one of their ""trusted"" (they are not accredited with the BBB) contractors (METROPOLITAN PLUMBING AND SEWER LLC) would be fixing my plumbing issues and after I told them exactly what the issue was they came out on June 27th after having to reschedule for the repair. They did not complete the repair and July 6th the repair is still not complete. I cannot get anyone on the phone and I was guaranteed a completion on June 28 and I have already paid. This company and my home warranty company have been terrible and all I want is for someone to allow me to find my own contractors to do the work at this point and reimbursed as this has been outstanding for weeks. The customer service of both companies has been atrocious!

I was forced to go with this company because it's the company used by my Home Warranty.

A week in advance, they scheduled an appointment for a 3 hour window on a Thursday. Instead, they showed up Wednesday, and then didn't show up during their 3 hour window on Thursday.

After they already wasted 3 hours of my time, I called in. The lady admitted it was her ""mistake,"" and they tried to schedule a new 3 hour window the next week. I asked to schedule a specific time so I don't lose another 3 hours due to another one of their ""mistakes."" They got rude on the phone and then said they ""can't guarantee"" a specific time- after we already learned that they're not in the business of meeting any of their own guarantees anyways.
