Nate was recommended by a friend so I asked for an estimate for a new electric gas valve (which I already had a strong suspicion was the problem with our 16-year old Carrier furnace). After a quick conversation regarding the symptoms he agreed it was likely the problem. After relaying the model no. to him he was able to locate a new valve for our furnace. He beat out two other repair estimates from five other HVAC companies (three of which after a week never provided an estimate). He arrived at the scheduled time, was totally Covid-19 correct (including wearing little disposable footies!) and proceeded to expertly replace the valve demonstrating his twenty years of HVAC experience. And his final charge was his estimate (as oppose to some outfits that charge $40/15 mins extra if they struggle with a repair). Despite its age no attempt made to upsell to a new furnace. I understand that time will come but for now thanks to Nate I'm ready for 'ol man Winter!

They were able to set something up with me really quick! Although they didn't return my voicemail, I was able to call again then next day and they came same day to fix my AC issue. Not only did the technician replace the part and pointed out what was needed quickly, he did his due diligence and checked everything else for free.

I also wanted to swap out my thermostat to a Google Nest, but he pointed out my system only works well with the same ""smart"" thermostat. So I saved money as well and returned the Nest.

Finally, as a neat freak in my house, he did make sure he wore shoe covers. Thank you!

We scheduled an appointment with this company to which we were given a time of arrival between 11 and 2pm. We called the morning of at 10:45am to confirm again to which we received confirmation. My granddaughter waited the full 3 hours and they never showed up. Upon calling, they informed that someone was ""supposed"" to contact her and that they knew the guy was running late, but that was never relayed. After the technician was contacted, they informed he was in route but 45 minutes out past the already 3 hour window. This company cannot be trusted to provide good customer service. If you are calling the tech on service day more than they are calling you, then they do not really care about your business. We rescheduled for the next morning, but management was so digusted with the service that we canceled any further business.

Nate is AWESOME! We lost A/C on a Saturday night, called Metro Late Saturday night and left a message... Sunday moring, Nate was the only one to call us back... He not only agreed to have our new unit installed by Tuesday Morning, he also offered fair pricing, a rebate, and a warranty for the hardware and services. He was the ONLY one to call us back and actually come out on a Sunday to look at our issue and not charge extra for it and by Tuesday afternoon we were back to being cool and chill and it was DAYS before anyone else who finally called us back said they could even come out to do an estimate. I am so grateful that I found Nate and Metro Services HVAC. We came back from vacation and our heater was not working. I have a home warranty where I can use which ever contractor I want, but there are so many companies out there who won't even give you the time of day if you have a warranty. Luckily I found Metro Services HVAC and explained the situation and said look I will pay you directly it's just that for me to get reimbursed I need you to hop on the phone with them before you start any work. Nate agreed and was so helpful he actually arranged it so the warranty company paid his company directly and I wasn't out of pocket. But more importantly, Nate detected the problem and the underlying problem. The heater had a dead circuit board and he replaced it but he stayed to make sure that it was working properly and discovered that it was actually burnt out because of the way the heater was set up. So he reset the limiter and now my HVAC is working perfectly. I'm so grateful to Nate and the company. I am a loyal customer and will definitely be contacting Metro Services HVAC for my regular HVAC maintenance.
