I can't believe the level of sheer rudeness I've just witnessed. I am still in shock. After waiting three weeks for service, he gave me a relatively high hourly labor quote and ensured I knew that clock was ticking! Fine. I asked him to raise one sprinkler (to screw in one 1ft piece of plastic pipe - $45 part (on top of time)
Then he found pop-ups possibly leaking. $49 to replace, again, part cost only on top of labor. I asked him to use my (brand new parts) (these are the same model, sold by Lowers for less than $15/each - No, we can't use them guarantee them (i.e., don't dare to eat into my profits!!!)
I said, ""Fine, let's ignore that head and move to the backyard for a more serious issue. At that point, visually annoyed, he said, ""No way. You dare to haggle with me, and I will not continue working here,"" and angrily stormed away.

You can be 100% I will erase this contact and never contact this ""business"" again.

Do not recommend! Apparently my job was too small for him so after visibly being annoyed by it he gave me a ridiculously high price and made comments about too much work for just the front of my house.

Checked out reviews for sprinkler systems and Metro has a great rating. Called Victor and he came out and gave me an estimate - seemed very reasonable. Had him install the system and he's been winterizing and starting up the system every year since. Excellent work! And Victor is very personable and knowledgeable - highly recommended.

After waiting for nearly a month for scheduled appointment, was sorely disappointed when the person finally showed up but did not fix anything. Instead he looked at the leaking manifold and said the pipes were broken, valves were bad. Pipes were cheap polystar (or something) and no point in fixing it. Charged $70 for his visit and quoted $2850 for new system. (Garden Irrigation had offered to give free quotes btw)

Later, a clever handyman simply fixed the broken pipe, and just tightened the valve caps to stop leak in manifold. Apparently winterization crew had loosened caps as part of winterization. Total cost was a small fraction of new system proposed by Metro.
Either incompetent or disingenuous.

I have been a customer of M.I. for several years after my last irrigation company made like they were doing me a favor by maintaining our sprinkler system. Instead of going on and on, I will make this short and simple. You deal only with the owner, no salesman or technician who tries to rip you off for commissions. Victor, the owner, is fairly priced and honest. How often do you hear that? Kudos.
