We used metro for plumbing work -replacing a water softener and some repiping. Jesse our plumber was super helpful, patient and did a great job! He explained all the tips and tricks maintaining our new water softener. He was on time, and wore a mask and shoe cover at all times. It is tricky also bcus we are both working from home, he was respectful of that and just took care of things with minimal interruption to our work day. I enjoyed working with Nick, who is a very good communicator, patient and responsive. And very appreciative of the new tricks Jesse taught us about basic maintenance!

So, my kitchen faucet decided to go berserk and I seemed to exacerbate the problem trying to ""fix"" it.

Well, I searched and got a quote from a few companies. I'd booked with a different company, who texted at the last minute that they weren't going to be there on time. Not getting a new time, I reached out again to those who had responded.

Metro had originally stated that they could come out on Friday. I didn't want to wait that long, so I got on their list to see if they'd make it out on Thursday. I was contacted a short time later that someone would be out between noon and 4.

Relieved, I got back to work. It was close to 3 when the nice young man arrived. I let him in and ge went right to work. Less than 30 minutes later, he'd cleaned out and tightened everything that caused the issue. The cost was $120.

This was a quick,inexpensive repair with very friendly service. I've already given their name to a friend who's having plumbing issues at his home.

Thanks Metro! I know who to call when the need arises again.

I needed a whole house water filter that was attached to my water softener replaced. I was hoping it was a small (especially in price) job. It turned out to cost me about 2.5 times what I was hoping, but the plumber who came did a very nice job. The new filter will allow me to maintain it myself without having to turn off the water to the house, which I appreciate. The plumber who came, Mitch, was very nice and professional. He did a great job in about 50 minutes and he estimated an hour. Mitch had to cut out and replace old piping that was connecting the water filter so it was definitely a job I couldn't have done myself. Another plumbing company quoted me 2 to 3 hours which seemed outrageous so I felt fairly treated by Mitch and Metro. Thank you.

Stacey Was on time and took his shoes off when coming in the house he assess the situation of a drippy faucet and a hissing toilet came up with a proposal in about 10-15 minutes and then once I agreed to it he had it fixed in a little over an hour he was courteous knowledgeable and time efficient I would highly recommend Stacey in Metro heating and cooling!

My dehumidifier had been running non stop for a month and water was everywhere all over my basement due to our furnace leaking. Metro sent a wonderful technician out fast and he unclogged our drain hose for us. Within 24 hrs, my dehumidifier has stopped running and the basement is dry again!!

Thank you Metro Heating/Cooling. You saved my basement floors, walls and my electricity bill!!

Plus they changed my furnace filter so I didn't have to. I will use them again!

We had a furnace tune up last fall and were satisfied. I recently asked for an estimate to replace a small vent cap on our roof. The estimate was $450.00. I asked for clarification and was told that all of their crews are 2-3 people. This is not true because our tune up ""crew"" was one technician. I also was told that we had to pay a liability surcharge because the ""crew"" had to go on the roof. They have liability insurance for every project. A liability surcharge is ridiculous. The estimator was overcharging and hoping we would accept it. No more business from us.

They charged us $390 to route PVC from our basement (sump pump) to our backyard. $90 for parts (mind you, parts included less than 10 feet of PVC, an elbow or two, and some glue - how does that costs $90?!). They charged $150/hour for their labor (totally fine). BUT when it came time to drill through our basement to get the PVC pipe out, the guy took his sweet time. In the past, a different contractor came out to drill through a similar spot in the basement and he had it done within MINUTES. Metro took about ONE HOUR to drill the hole. Either their tools don't work properly or they are told to take their time during these jobs to make the most money. This job shouldn't have taken two hours to complete. I am not happy with this company.

I have used their services for the past few months and they have been soo great! It is reasonable in price and great work and very friendly.
One of the things I want is responsiveness and they are definitely fast to get back to you and I appreciate that.

Metro is not good. They did improper installation on furnace and PVC venting. Did bad installation on my furnace. Rain came into the house due to improper sealing of PVC piping. I have problem ever since they replace a new Rheem furnace for me. Furnace keep dying. When I call they want more money before they can come out to fix what they did wrong.
This is ridiculous. Not recommend them. No ethic. No dignity.
