If money is no object, by all means have Metro-Flow do your plumbing work. If you are like the rest of us and need to watch your money, do not use this company. Over-the-top prices for the most simple of plumbing jobs, never mind the big stuffl I would never use these folks again. I called to complain about their abusive prices and was told by the owner how unreasonable I was being! If you would like the name of a good, honest, fairly priced plumber, here it is: Belue Plumbing Company of Hurst Texas. Their plumbers did some work for me today and charged $500, where Metro-Flow wanted around $3,000 for the very same work.
Mary B.

I received the best service possible! Very professional staff and extremely courteous. Really helped me out from an emergency type of situation. Handled the problem quickly and very inexpensively. They even helped out on another small issue and didn't charge for it. They cleaned everything up afterwards and made it look like I never had a problem and like they were never even there. Two giant thumbs up! I will never call another plumber again besides Metro-Flow. Really good guys!

I agree with all of the other "victims". After forking over $65 for a quote, I said I'd call them back after discussing this with my wife. Their initial cost to repair a leaking gas valve was $2100. After calling another licensed plumber, I paid only $500 to do the same repairs. Rather than install a new valve, Daryl from Metro-Flow wanted to tear down the piping beyond the brick wall which, as a professional engineer, I thought was excessive. I was right. I will definitely contact BBB to get back my $65 for deceitful and unprofessional practices. DO NOT CALL Metro-Flow unless you want to be entertained for the price of admission of $65. FYI...other plumbers will give you free quotes...so why should you think $65 buys you better advice?
Everyone said their prices were 3X more than others...mine was 4X

Abusive prices. Extremely expensive. $608.00 for a clogged toilet. It took less than 25 minutes. Never again. I won't recommend this company

I spent $1500 getting a repair done by them last week. To accomplish this they had to remove my toilet from upstairs. They grabbed it by the tub and were dragging it around upstairs. It started to leak from the connections a few hours after they left. They came out today and said that because there was brown water by the connections that it had been leaking. Once I asked them if it was just the water from the bottom of the tank, they said they were professional and had been doing it fro 27 years. I guess by "it", they must have meant ripping people off. I don't recommend this company.

The company did a good job however I should have called other companies in the area. They charged triple, the cost from other companies. They replaced a rubber ring and charged over $300 for a job that in which they spent less than 30 minutes to complete. Regretfully I would recommend for people to look at other companies or a handy man first. Maybe Home Depot or Lowes would provide you with ideas on how to do it yourself.

Expensive expensive expensive.
I've used metro flow 3 times now. The first two times was an emergency, they were the only ones available, and I was a first time homeowner so I didn't know any better about pricing. But they were very professional, clean, wore booties, and always came in pairs for some reason, and on time.
I just used them again, two knowledge-gained years later and holy moly!!! They are expensive. More than FOUR TIMES the price of another plumber . But here's the trick--they charge a SIXTY FIVE dollar service fee just to give you a quote, and that price does NOT go towards the cost of the work done. So to avoid paying $65 for nothing, I paid the 425$ total to snake one drain. If you don't know, that's totally absurd. It took them 15 minutes. For 425 dollars. The drain was snaked well, I supposed, but that's not exactly complex plumbing. I feel a little robbed, and I wish they told me an estimate for snaking a drain over the phone before coming out. Sigh.

These plumbers were super professional and did a great job, however they were more than triple the price of most other companies. They charged $300 just to pull a toilet plus another $200 to install another one (no repairs included in that price). Now, Home Depot will pull and install a new toilet for $79-$99 total.

Just like other reviews said here, this is a deceitful company. The only thing they want is $49 quotation check from you. The man came to my house looks like a salesperson, aarogant and rude, showing you membership catalogue and trying to have you joinging their membership club to get as much money as possible from you. The quote he gave me is two times higher than the other two companies I got later. They use time constraint and scare tactics to make you accept their offers. It is funny they are listed in the Best Pick Reports three years in a row.

Everything you read in former posts is true. They charge $49.00 just to give an estimate and that price Does Not apply to the eventual price of the repairs. This is a complete waste of time and money.
The estimate they gave me was well above what another company did good repairs for of my toilet. The will not give you a firm price until the work is done, then it's too late. Do not use them unless you are desperate, even then, think about it.
