Laura K.DO NOT USE!!
I was told I was the first appointment of the day. Got a notification my tech was on his way and quoted time frame was 30-45 minutes. 45 minutes pass and I get a call from the tech that he is still 20 minutes out. 20 minutes pass and still no tech. I've been waiting over an hour at this point since first notification that he is on his way. He eventually shows up 35 minutes after the call. I was given estimates for a frozen pipe package, customer supplied garbage disposal replacement, and a cracked tank lever on a slow flushing toilet. Everything was VERY overpriced, but I was desperate to get the burst pipe replaced ($665) so only went with that estimate. But I was quoted $740 to replace a garbage disposal I was supplying, absolutely criminal for many reasons -- the average cost for a garbage disposal replacement is between $300-500 and that is with the plumber supplying the new disposal, so with me supplying the new disposal it should be less than $300, but not according to Mesa! And then for the tiny crack in the tank lever of the toilet he was trying to sell me an entire upper tank rebuild ($471) or an entire toilet replacement ($1200+)!! I don't know if he thought he could scam me because I'm a woman and he didn't think I knew better or what, but for a cracked piece of plastic that is $7 at home depot, I wasn't buying it. Unfortunately for him, I was not born yesterday and am a very handy lady. I purchased the parts for the tank lever replacement and will be doing it myself this afternoon after work, total price $12 after tax. Utter highway robbery and incredibly dishonest. Mesa are scammers. Do not use them.
Update: I replaced the tank lever myself and it flushes like a dream and it only took $12 and 2 minutes to do. $1200 toilet replacement? Not sure how y'all sleep at night. Criminals.
Becky F.Avoid this company! I would give them a 0 if I could. We scheduled an appointment for an urgent plumbing issue related to a broken pipe. They then called back, cancelled, and refused to reschedule. The front office receptionist was incredibly rude, and upon their cancellation said that they could not reschedule us for at least one to two months. Really? We used this company previously for a boiler installation, and were unhappy with their lateness to scheduled appointments and lack of professionalism over the phone. We only tried them again because of the urgency of our plumbing issue. We will not be interacting with them again.
If I could give them a zero I would, but that's impossible so I had to give them a 1. I had someone come out on February 25th because I had a leaky pipe and the heater wasn't working. They got the heat working and sent another guy out to fix the leaky pipe. The pipe in question was responsible for reducing pressure and they didn't have one so they had to order a new one. Their plumber, Jacob I believe was his name, put in a temporary fix to stop the leak which resulted in my shower perpetually leaking. Before he left he gave me a quote for $309, I refused to pay until the job was done so they left with just a $100 visit fee, a separate charge from the $309. I called later that week as the heat had already stopped working again and they told me the part they ordered wouldn't be in for another 2 weeks and they'd check out the heating situation when they came to install the pressure reducing pipe. Two weeks pass and I call and talk to the plumber who told me the part still hadn't arrived and they'd call back as soon as it did. I never got a call back. Now I don't have hot water coming through the showers, no heat, leaky shower, and the heat still doesn't work. I called again, now it's just under 2 months since the initial visit and they now tell me there was never a $309 quote even though it's in my texts and I got that number directly from their plumber. The new quote is $741.29, ridiculous! I asked them to honor their quote, they refused so now I have to find someone else to fix a part I've been waiting on them to fix for two months. Terrible.
Our heating went out in a super cold day and they sent someone out within hours! James was super helpful and fixed the heater in minutes. 10/10 service
Need a mini-split for heating (and a/c) since my boiler died. Mesa came out to build an estimate. Luckily Mesa is able to get the unit in by Monday and install next week! When I called they are very nice and helpful answering all my questions. The estimator was professional and courteous.
I will update this review after install!
I just had a new toilet put in by Tony and Jake. I appreciated their professionalism and friendliness. It wasn't known until they came that I needed a new toilet so they spent more time than they expected here and going to pick up a new toilet, but they were willing to take all the time it needed and to handle all the unexpected things that came up and needed fixing.
I am always pleased with the response from Mesa and the quality of the work they do.
They wanted $800 for 20 minutes work. We've had it done before; our usual plumber charges $180. He was on vacation, so we called Mesa. They also wanted to add an additional $400 for cleaning hair out of an easy drain. When I told them the price was far too high, they charged me $100 for showing up for 5 minutes to quote high prices.
Jaelyn W.The work they did went very well. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. The only problem I had was responsiveness via email prior to getting the work done.
Mesa provides professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and considerate plumbers at a fair price.
I've used Mesa Plumbing for several projects and most recently to install a tankless water heater. Patrick and his team did a great job. They were great and easy to work with. Patrick took time to explain everything to me and helped me understand how the new system work in case I wanted to change any settings. He also took a look at several other projects I have going on around the house to offer some advice. I remain very happy and will continue to use Mesa Plumbing for future projects.
