Two of their plumbers collaborated on a proposal for two fixes that would have cost thousands of dollars of unnecessary repairs. After hiring our previous plumbers they solved our problems and provided fixes quickly and economically. Either the Merry Plumbers were incompetent or greedy......... or both. I lean toward incompetent.

Eduardo was excellent! Very professional, super knowledgeable, and got the job done efficiently. Our association (condo) uses Merry. They've been vetted by the top management company in our area and that's not an easy bar to pass. Great service, respectful experts. Phone service/ appointment servicepersons were great, too.

When Merry Plumbing showed up at my home to quote me on some repair work I asked the plumber to put a mask on before he entered my home and he refused and laughed in my face. I've never been so disrespected by a service worker who expected me to pay them.

Their plumber did not use a drill, razor or utility knife to open the dry wall to access the plumbing. Instead he bashed a hole in the wall by forcefully breaking it apart by slamming it repeatedly with a wide jaw large adjustable wrench. Then, because he didn't have the right tool on his truck, he cut out a length of perfectly good pipe, to access the small leak from the pipe next to it. The plumber who was with him balanced a tool on the edge of a second hole, bashed through the garage ceiling, and it fell nearly hitting him in the head. He avoided that by batting it away with his hand. As a consequence, it flew across the garage straight into my car leaving a dent on the hood. There's more. Perhaps you would do better with a different company.

Water softener tank went out - bought a new one & contacted Merry to come out & install in a few days - no rush, right. Before they came out our tankless water heater went out too! Juan installed the softener & tried a fix on the water tank (to no avail). We rushed out to get a replacement & worked with April in the front office - she rearranged schedules so Juan could come out the next day & install the water heater. We're back to being able to shower !

Dishonest pricing and hidden fees.
Had a dripping faucet in bathtub. Called Merry plumbing , plumber needed
to replace hot and cold delta cartridges. He went to Ferguson plumbing supply to buy them. He showed them to me before putting them in , they are the standard cartridge type that cost $15 to $20 each. When he finished the faucet was still dripping. When I pointed this out he said it would stop in awhile, I was skeptical but he said to call him back if it still dripped.
It never stopped dripping, not as much but still dripping. Called him back , he did the same thing and it still dripped . He explained that was the best he could do , that it was an old faucet.

Then I got the bill. $190 for 1 1/2 hours of labor - at $23.50 per quarter hr -which equals $141
147.59 for parts plus $14.02 in tax. I understand you pay a premium when they supply the parts , but they should have cost around $50 with the mark up. I was not given the old parts nor was i shown the bill from Ferguson Plumbing Supply.
$18.00 for a Truck Operational Surcharge - I have never heard of such a fee. They are charging you because they use a truck? Maybe I should have asked them to drive a car ,would that have been a $10 dollar fee? Was not given the option.
$42.50 for labor for the return visit to fix the drip that was still dripping after he left the first time. Most plumbers have a warranty of their work for 90 days

$10 Covid PPE surcharge. Of course , you are charged for plumber to wear a mask to protect himself ! It's a county mandate , everyone wears a mask but not everyone charges you for it.

--$50 So Cal 911 Coupon. Now they give you a $50 coupon to make you feel better after all this.

$18.00 Truck operation
$42.50 labor return visit
$10.00 Covid fee
$14.02 tax

Not a bad price for a faucet that only drips a little.

From the wonderful Rosie in the office to the technicians, 5 stars across the board. Very responsive, friendly, professional and legit. These people know what they're doing.

I had been concerned after another plumber told me my sewer line had to be replaced and had quoted $5000 for the job. Ernie Macias and his partner took a thorough look and said it looked to be in fine condition and nothing was needed.

I have them in my phone now and will call them if and when I have any plumbing needs.

I recently used Merry Plumbing for an emergency service since my HOA has a contract with them. They came quickly and solved the issue in a very reasonable time. Robert was wearing a mask all the time while explaining to me possible causes of the problem. After this positive experience, I scheduled two more visits with Robert for the work that was delayed for a long time: a replacement of a garbage disposal and a bathroom sink faucet, and drain cleaning. This additional work confirmed my already very good experience, and I would recommend Merry Plumbing and Robert for a reliable and safe plumbing service.

Julio came to our house to fix a very leaky kitchen sink. Turned out we needed to replace our faucet. Not only did he go find us one, but the old one was a huge pain to remove. He went above and beyond and now our faucet is working better than ever!
