I had become frustrated with my other plumber continually failing to fix an issue on the first visit so I asked a friend what plumber he used and he suggested Merry Plumbing.
I had a leaky hose bib, a non functioning water main valve, and a pin hole leak near by in the copper pipe going to my sprinkler system.
Merry Plumbing exceeded my expectations every step of the way. They started by having me send photos of the problems then I got a call from their supervisor to make sure he completely understood the job. He picked one out f his most experienced plumbers, Quentin, for the job because it was semi complex. Quentin showed up on time with an apprentice plumber. They completely the job perfectly and in less time than had been estimated. Because of that the job also came in under the initial estimate. The completed work product was outstanding and Quentin impressed me with his knowledge, motivation, and his professionalism. Because of him, Merry Plumbers are my new plumbers for this residence and I will use them for my rental properties as well. In today's world it was refreshing to find someone accomplished at their trade. Everyone I talked to at the company was nice.
Marcus L.My parents had a small leak in the kitchen and called Merry Plumbing. Merry was punctual, friendly and honest. They were knowledgeable and easily fixed the leak. They also charged my parents a fair rate.
Thank you Shane for helping us out so quickly with your expertise in plumbing. Saved us from tearing out our shower.
Todd at Merry Plumbing was able to come out, same day, as I had an issue with my kitchen sink. He identified the problem and was finished very quickly. He was very nice and knew exactly how to fix the issue. We will absolutely use Merry again!
My drain had a backup and so I called them out. The drain is partially open.
The person came in I filled the water up in one side of my sink let the water down and the water comes up on the other side.
I showed it to the plumber, he puts down the snake for 10 mins.
I filled the water up again it comes up on the other side.
The plumber puts down the snake for 10 mins then he tests the water and said it was good and leave.
I filled the water up again it comes up on the other side.
The next day I had soup bubbles from the upstairs come in my sink.
Merry Plumbers had to send another person to come snake the drains. I really don't know why their workers don't try to do the job correct the first time.
If there were a lower rating I would select that. Our water heater went out on the 4th of December. Merry plumbing show up for diagnostics on Monday the 5th. Heating elements were shorted out. On the 6th elements were replaced but still no hot water. Plumbers blame the circuit breaker. 7th electrician arrives and finds the circuit breaker ok, but one wire at the tank disconnected. Dec 9th, plumber returns to turn up the thermostat, warm water for 15 minutes. No hot water by middle of the week. They tried again to blame this on electrical, but Electrician came back on the weekend of the 17th and verified that electrical was fine. I would love to continue the detail but I think you get the point. Plumbers return again and again except for the holidays and at their convenience, replacing the unit on December 24th without success. On the 27th of December they discovered the real problem: a leak under the floor which emptied the tank and burned the electrodes as well as raised the electric bill astronomically. They can't diagnose a plumbing problem! Different plumbers came and fixed the piping on Dec29. Merry came back 7 times between then and January 12th when the problem was resolved. Management at this company doesn't care about your needs or your suffering. My family of three lost all of their seasonal holidays and had to boil water for baths and dishes
Two of their plumbers collaborated on a proposal for two fixes that would have cost thousands of dollars of unnecessary repairs. After hiring our previous plumbers they solved our problems and provided fixes quickly and economically. Either the Merry Plumbers were incompetent or greedy......... or both. I lean toward incompetent.
Donna L.Eduardo was excellent! Very professional, super knowledgeable, and got the job done efficiently. Our association (condo) uses Merry. They've been vetted by the top management company in our area and that's not an easy bar to pass. Great service, respectful experts. Phone service/ appointment servicepersons were great, too.
Jason S.When Merry Plumbing showed up at my home to quote me on some repair work I asked the plumber to put a mask on before he entered my home and he refused and laughed in my face. I've never been so disrespected by a service worker who expected me to pay them.
Their plumber did not use a drill, razor or utility knife to open the dry wall to access the plumbing. Instead he bashed a hole in the wall by forcefully breaking it apart by slamming it repeatedly with a wide jaw large adjustable wrench. Then, because he didn't have the right tool on his truck, he cut out a length of perfectly good pipe, to access the small leak from the pipe next to it. The plumber who was with him balanced a tool on the edge of a second hole, bashed through the garage ceiling, and it fell nearly hitting him in the head. He avoided that by batting it away with his hand. As a consequence, it flew across the garage straight into my car leaving a dent on the hood. There's more. Perhaps you would do better with a different company.
