Updating my previous review as I found out why they are so ""quick, efficient, and reasonably priced"" the HARD way. I've been in Haverhill for 7 years now and this is far and away the worst experience I have had. 2 weeks after they replaced our gas valve, it stopped working. Hard to imagine since their tech was busy promoting his personal photography business while installing it. When they came out the second time, the next tech didnt even check the gas valve, he did god knows what for an hour and told me the heat exchanger was gone and we needed a whole new furnace...the house itself is only 8 1/2 years old! Given my inexperience with furnaces myself, it was a great opportunity for them to upsell a new furnace quoted between $10k and $15k. They said a ""comfort adviser"" would be out the next day, Xmas eve, to get me to commit to a new furnace. When I scrambled to find any way possible to afford such a situation and presented them with my furnaces' warranty information, they couldnt believe I had found a way out. The ""comfort adviser"" then mysteriously never showed. When I called them repeatedly over the next few days asking why they didnt show and for a quote on the warranty replacement, I got crickets. Eventually, after calling many times, I was emailed a blank quote for $5k to replace the heat exchanger under warranty. No details, nothing. So I asked for further detail, but knew something wasnt right. After that, I got 3 separate opinions, one from National Grid themselves, telling me nothing was wrong with my heat exchanger or unit, and that it was definitely the gas valve MVP installed. When I called and asked them to come back out, I received a technician annoyed that I would dare question them. Instead of checking the gas valve when they came as I had asked, they proceeded to take out a camera to try and find damage to my heat exchanger to prove me wrong, which they couldn't. No damage, no crack, nothing. Why wasnt the camera used the first time, before telling me it was gone and I needed a new unit, and not just when I pushed back? They were going to have me buy a whole new furnace for $10k-$15k without even knowing if the part they said was damaged, was even damaged! The tech then reluctantly tested the gas valve he himself put him 2 weeks prior and had to admit, oh it's not working. Dont worry, this isnt the end of my story. When they then came out the next time to replace their faulty gas valve, the next one was leaking gas immediately upon installation! The tech was embarrassed and had no answer other than to tell my upset wife, we'll see you Monday. Come Monday, when no one reached out and I called, they told me it looks like Thursday now. That was it for us. That same day, I had one of those other opinions I received earlier in the month come over, and they proceeded to replace my gas valve in 3 hours of work. 3 HOURS! Furnace is up and running like it was just installed. These people are crooks. They're inexperienced. They don't care about the customer, just their bottom line. My kids spent Xmas morning opening up presents next to 2 space heaters they gave us while still pushing for me to buy a new furnace from them. This issue started December 2nd, and after two gas valves and 5 visits, by January 6th, we still didnt have a working furnace. One call to another expert and it was done in 3 hours. Me, my family, and friends are going to do our best to save all of you from this experience and get our story out there. DON'T DO IT. I implore you, don't call this business. If you can even call it that. And dont bother giving some meaningless apology on here, MVP. You admitted over and over, without emotion, that it wasnt handled correctly. Not to mention, the first time someone called me back was yesterday, after over a month I was finally allowed to speak to someone who just gave me excuses. Oh and the minute we gave any indication we might take our business elsewhere, their ""manager"" came to get their space heaters in less than 20 minutes. Fastest they worked the whole time! DON'T CALL THEM!

The next day I received a call to inform me they could schedule me for a Monday appointment, my furnace stopped working on a Thursday. That's when I called MVP company, I got an appointment the same day, the technician came out, and in 40 to 45 minutes my furnace was fixed.
