We started our journey in June 2021, we aim to provide exceptional customer service.

In 2004, JJ relocated from Toronto, Ontario, Canada to Florida. He came to work with a Canadian company on a project for relining municipal sewer systems in Sarasota County. The company quickly opened a division in Florida. JJ was a key player in the Florida operations and remained in that position until 2012.

After becoming a parent, JJ understood that being away from home for extended periods due to work was not ideal. JJ departed from the lining company and took a position with a residential plumber in Sarasota. Soon after, he signed up for and finished a four-year plumbing apprenticeship. Once he finished his apprenticeship, he prepared for and received his master plumber license.

In 2021, he founded Merit Plumbing to delivering outstanding and accessible customer service.
