We strive to move the industry forward by embracing new technologies that create a smoother experience for both our customers and employees. We are also excited about mentoring future plumbers and encouraging young individuals to explore plumbing careers.

Merit Plumbing stands firm in the belief that everyone deserves clean water. Our goal is to donate 5% of our profits to initiatives like the Navajo Water Project. We encourage you to participate in making a donation to the Navajo Water Project.

JJ arrived in Florida from Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 2004. He came to work with a Canadian company on a project for relining municipal sewer systems in Sarasota County. Soon after, the company set up a division in Florida. JJ played a crucial role in the Florida operations and remained in that position until 2012.

After becoming a parent, JJ understood that being away from home for extended periods due to work was not ideal. He left the lining company and began working for a residential service plumber in Sarasota. Shortly after starting, he enrolled in and completed a four-year plumbing apprenticeship. Upon finishing his apprenticeship, he began studying for and obtained his master plumber license.

He launched Merit Plumbing in 2021 with the aim of delivering outstanding and accessible customer service.
