After two major leaks in crawl space due to faulty manufacturing of polybutylene pipe, decided re-pipe of entire system was needed.
Meridian Plumbing (Brian Smith, plumber), did an excellent job. Due to great planning, all was finished in less time than projected. He and the apprentice plumber were cautious about placing protection on floors and kept disruption to my household at a minimum. They took time to carefully answer all questions and explain reason for each process. They display pride in the work they do and it is reflected in the finished product. Meridian Plumbing has taken care of issues at a my home for over 12 years and will continue to be who I call. Thanks to everyone there.

Alan M. you have misspoken. As I stressed to you on the phone when you called me to complain about my review (which is terrible you called me to verbally attack me), I was NOT given the option by your plumber to just fix the roman tub valve. The repairman would not do it. He wanted to repair my shower as well, stating that I ""will still have a problem with my tub if he doesn't fix the shower too""
which has subsequently proven to be untrue, as the other plumbing company I called fixed it just fine. Remember that even though I told your plumber that the shower isn't a priority to me at all, I just wanted the roman tub valve fixed. He would not do it, as I told you on the phone. So that is where the $6,000 came from. It was all or nothing. I was't given the option to just repair my tub valve, and that is why I called you to get the estimate. The repair I needed is the one you are calling ""the second problem"" - Haa, even though it is the repair I called about. You stated on your response, ""For the second problem, to replace the roman tub valve, we also provided 2 choices: replace the roman tub valve by going under the home for $2,750 (requiring two people), or replace the valve by removing tile (to enable access) for $2,180 (tile repair not included). That was all I needed done and Veterans only charged me $780 with one man doing the work to your $2,000+ and two men doing the work! To clarify, I ended the conversation with you not over your $6,000+ monetary question, which you understand came from the quote you guys gave me, but because you were trying to tell me the quote did not happen, which is an outright lie. Also, I told you I was given a written copy. You misspoke saying I did not get a copy. You gave me no apology for the inflated job and higher quote, you were just trying to make excuses for your company's outrageous quotes. I ended the conversation over your unwillingness to admit your mistake. You should be ashamed of yourself. Please don't call me up and bother me about this again. I felt harassed last time you called.

I love Meridian Plumbing. They have come out to our house in Kuna multiple times to help us out and they are ALWAYS reasonably priced and very fair. I highly recommend them.

Great company to work with. We have had them out several times to unclog toilets, sinks, install dishwasher and troubleshoot other problems. We have a basement bathroom and have had a few issues. They just came out to look at it and did not charge us anything at all! wow
They are reliable (show up when they say) and charges are very reasonable.

Will never use again and would not recommend. Had them come out to quote moving kitchen plumbing from south side of kitchen to east side of kitchen and to move bathroom plumbing approximately 1 foot over in a remodel, i felt the price was reasonable ($2000) and the plumber was friendly and seemed knowledgeable. After he was finished the plumbing was not in the correct places, things done that we didnt ask for, a brand new vanity was ruined, there was water under the house, insulation pulled down and not put back up (failed on inspection by potential home buyer), all the old piping was left under the house, and trash thrown in our recycle can. I was angry but my spouse was more angry, after a few days of calming down i contacted them and asked for a manager to come see the issues and the lady on the phone tried to tell me that they didnt know if their guy had ruined the vanity (brand new out of the box the night before plumbing was moved and in a vacant home) i told her i did. The owner came out and spoke with my spouse, he agreed to replace the vanity and to have someone fix the other issues. Sent the same guy out, then a few days later when he came out to do the finishing touches he tried to tell me that we damaged the rings that go around the pipe that he had installed originally and then had to remove to fix what was wrong and that he wasnt planning to replace them and then replaced them with incorrect pieces, he left the water running in my yard when he left. When i sent the receipt for reimbursement for having to buy another new vanity i asked for the owner to contact me back and he never did, after a few weeks i called to inquire about whether or not they were going to reimburse me and i was told by the owner in an extremely unprofessional manner that the check was already mailed and when i inquired where they sent the check it was to the remodel address where no one lives and where mail doeant get delivered and the owner tried to imply it was my fault they sent the check to that address. My spouse thought the owner was pleasant, however i do not feel the same, i was not treated with courtesy or respect even though i allowed them to try to correct the issues. Beware.

I really would like to use them, but they do not service Emmett, according to the person who answered the phone... 15 miles away is all... ugh... and I have to listen to the radio ads every day... VERY Frustrating!

Called Meridian Plumbing for a diagnosis on my water heater and had the privilege to meet Brian Peltzman from their team. Brian was very professional, clean, and organized upon arrival. Brian put his shoe covers on before entering the house and verified why he was here. Brian was successful with his diagnosis and offered information about the situation freely to make sure I understood the situation.
Brian also went out of his way to inform me about a few other things going with the house. A water hardness test was also conducted to determine if we should invest in a water softener.
I would highly recommend Brian from Meridian Plumbing to anybody. Brian was very professional, polite, informed (20 years exp), and helpfu.

We just had Brian from Meridian Plumbing respond to a service call placed this morning for a leaking pipe and/or toilet. Not only did he arrive early, he was exceptionally knowledgeable, identified the problem immediately, fixed it, and along the way was extremely personable. Great job Brian and Meridian Plumbing!!

In addition to other work performed by Meridian Plumbing at my rental property in Eagle, I retained them to install a water heater in February of 2014.

I was recently notified by my property manager that there was evidence of a leak between the pipe nipple on the water heater and the flex connector which connects the water heater to the house.

I spoke with the technician and asked him why there was a leak after only four years which is atypical of most installations (I still have my original water heater at my residence which is 33 years old. No leaks).

He told me that the company (Meridian Plumbing) was using substandard nipples at the time and have since changed to another brand.

I remarked that now I have to pay for his company's purchasing practices.

He told me that he would have to drain the water heater (which he didn't do), and install a new pipe nipple and flex connector for a charge of $131.00.

I decided in view of safety and reliability to make the repair.

My property manager relayed my concern about getting no relief for the substandard material used and I was subsequently sent an email by Chris Field, Director of Finance, informing me that the owner ""Jeff"" stated that he was well within his rights to bill me as the installation is only guaranteed for one year.

Although ""Jeff"" is legally ""within his rights"", this is not good business practice and people considering using this firm should be forewarned that they don't stand behind their work for a period of time consistent with what most people would consider reasonable for such an installation.

Furthermore, I was merely asking for some relief or consideration and was not expecting to pay nothing.

I will certainly never use Meridian Plumbing again have suggested to my property manager who recommended them to me to do likewise.

I am very happy with Meridian Plumbing. I called in the morning when they opened and expressed interest of wanting a water softener installed. The technician Pete came out the same day in the afternoon and had it installed and working. Pete was very professional and awesome to work with. He completed the installation in a very timely manner and was more than happy to answer any questions you had. Pete you are amazing! Thanks for your service guys! Their pricing is fair especially with the amazing service they provide.
