First I want to thank yelp for the reviews left regarding Mercy Plumbing. It gave me comfort knowing that the reviews left behind gave me the same satisfactory customer service when I called mercy plumbing. I called the owner John to set up an appointment and he was there right on time. My downstairs toilet kept clogging and water was coming up from the front of my lawn which I thought was going to be a nightmare in cost to fix. When John finally arrived he already knew what was the problem, he pointed out that the builder of my house layered sod "grass" over the septic valve. With some PVC piping which he did not charge me for and some digging he constructed a whole new one for me which at the same time he cleared the blockage of bio waste. I recommend Mercy Plumbing/ John to anyone. Don't waste your time dealing with anyone else I promise you he will take care of you and get the job done.

I cannot recommend Mercy Plumbing enough. John was extremely nice and easy to communicate with for scheduling and flexible as well. He came out earlier than his usual hours to accommodate my schedule. They were prompt, efficient, friendly, and professional. I will absolutely use them again for future plumbing needs.

If you need a plumber who is smart enough to diagnose your plumbing problem accurately and honest enough to not rip you off during the most vulnerable time, John Mercy is the guy you call. John and his nephew came out to my house after the previous plumbing company told me I had a leak and would take at least $3000 to fix (and somehow I had a gut feeling not to trust them), he diagnosed no leak but fixed an unstable toilet for me which was MUCH cheaper. Later I had a plumbing emergency in my dental office and he came out during the time when he should be having family dinner and diagnosed our plumbing problem. He saved us from having to shut down the office the next day. He's a rare gem in his profession and it shows as he's getting all the five star reviews on Yelp!

We called John @ Mercy Plumbing a few months ago for a clogged sewer line and he immediately (and correctly) diagnosed the problem and told us we would eventually need to replace the line. I should mention that I called him at 6pm on a Friday after our sewer system had backed up and pumped poop (yes, poop) particles into our bathtubs! With an 8 month old at home, I was mortified and needed help ASAP! Everyone else I called all afternoon (starting at 3) told me they couldn't help me until well into the next week. John said he would stop on his way home! He cleared the system and got everything back to normal that night! Naturally, when it backed up again (tree roots in the line) a few months later, he was our first call. He came out and diagnosed it, charged us a very reasonable rate, and had 25 feet of sewer piping in our front yard completely fixed in less than 24 hours! A friend had the same thing done out of state the same day... her Facebook photos of a torn up yard left by her plumber had me frightened, but upon arriving home, I found that they had carefully cut up our grass, pealed it back, replaced pipe, and carefully put it all back! You couldn't even tell it had been done from the street view! Excellent workmanship has us up and running again! John is polite, expedient, and wonderful! I cannot say enough how highly I recommend Mercy Plumbing - they are awesome and truly go the extra mile for their customers!

Finally a plumber you can trust.
After calling several plumbers I called John at mercy plumbing who was the only person who didn't try to swindle or take advantage of my situation.
I had a gas valve leak & every other plumber I called was dishonest, including some listed here that have good reviews.
John &his assistant went above and beyond, they took time to explain the problem & gave me choices on how to fix the problem.
I am a happy customer. I would recommend mercy plumbing 100% & certified too!!!

I called 2 plumbing services and they said it would be a couple of days for them to come out. I dont think that it helped that I told them i am a single woman & didnt know much about these things...
So when I described what was going on with my plumbing backing up...they sad " it sounds major & may be EXTENSIVE ( Code for EXPENSIVE). I really needed someone fast and not acting shady before they even came out. I called my ExHusband William & he said call John @ Mercy Plumbing. I left a message for John & he called me back fast. I told him what was going on and he said I can come out tomorrow & I said ok...I'll have to live with waste in my tub a little longer. He said " Im finishing a job in Katy. I'll see if I can come out tonight" I've heard that one before...but, he surprised me by calling back and said " I'm on way" I was in shock. He figured out right away that the problem was roots. He pulled them out of the line & voila...everything was working great. I will use them again & again!! Ty for being merciful...Mercy Plumbing!!!
