I called Mercurio's Monday morning for service and technician Cyrus, Ryan came out to replace the pressure release valve on my hot water tank. He called me back right away, was able to do the work quickly the same day and was very professional. His work was top notch and very customer service oriented. He's a good example of the well-trained and professional staff that Mercurio's employs. Another positive experience!!!
We just bought our first home and our furnace stopped working we had an electrician come out from here because we'll they are supposed to be the experts. I was quoted 189 just to come look. The guy looked around for a while and found the light switch to turn the furnace back on then charged us $400?. Like what the heck. You didn't do anything. I hope they refund some of our money because we have 4 kids and $400 seems excessive to turn on a light switch. We just didn't know where it was.
Let me start by saying the technicians from Mercurio's have always been friendly. However, Mercurio's installed a new furnace and AC for us a couple of years ago (I will be requesting service records but I think it was 2021), and the furnace has consistently failed in below freezing weather, an issue we did not have until their installation. The first winter we had it, it failed during a cold snap and they told us they'd fixed it. The second winter we had it, technicians had to come three separate times in a week, and the third technician was sure he'd finally fixed it. This is the third winter we've had it, and despite us running the condensate line to a bucket inside the house because the line has frozen, it is broken again. It's in the 50s in our house, we have two small children, and Mercurio's says they'll be here in three days and will charge us hundred of dollars (again!) to attempt a fix. If anyone from Mercurio's is reading this, please please please help. Short of asking another company to install a new furnace, I don't know what we need to do to reliably have winter heat.
My furnace shut off in the middle of the night as a fail-safe due to the freezing temperatures. I woke up and called Mercurio's right away, because this had happened last year and I knew what was wrong and they handled it great last year, so I expected the same this year. Well I was waiting for 30 minutes for someone to answer, which I anticipated. Once the young lady answered I explained my situation, and she told me the soonest she could get someone to my house was on Thursday. I reiterated that I had no heat, and I couldn't wait that long. She said that everyone is dealing with this and that is the earliest she could get someone to me. I took it, because I didn't want it to be pushed out any further. She told me that it was going to cost $189. I questioned that because I didn't have to pay anything last year. She said will only if they installed my furnace. I explained that they did back in July 2021. She said she does not know anything about warranties, but that if it is under warranty the technician would be able to see that and address it accordingly. She explained that she was only a scheduler, and I understand that. But she had no customer service skills. There were no apologies, no assistance to try and help me. I would think there was an on-call service, nothing! I'm not going 6 days in freezing weather with no heat! And at the end of the call she called me the wrong name a told me to have a great day... I have no heat my day won't be that great!
Outstanding company to work with. Have used them for 20 years without a problem. Recently our furnace stopped working on a Sat. Technician, Zach arrived a couple of hours later and fixed the problem. He was personable and informative. As always, a pleasure to work with Mercurio's.
Lizzie C.Mercurio's installed a new ductless heat pump system in our 102-year-old house that was badly in need of better heating. Tom came to the house first to give an estimate and was helpful in describing the different options and assessing which would be the best fit for our house and our needs. We were able to schedule the installation surprisingly quickly, within just a couple weeks, and on the day of the work Mario and Matt were professional and efficient in getting it done in 6 hours flat. They cleaned up around the work areas and showed me how to work the units before leaving the site. We're already thrilled with how much warmer the house is just with the 2 heads. Excellent work, would hire again.
Today we had our regular maintenance on our system under the maintenance plan which we buy each year.By doing this we save money. Our technician Thom is awesome. We had him last time as well and have been so happy with his work. He's professional and knows what he's doing. Everyone, office staff and our tech Thom have been top notch. We highly recommend them.

Prepaid for a Heating & Cooling Tune and scheduled a appointment for Monday afternoon. Got a text on Sunday reminding me I had a Monday Appointment.
Waited till 4:30 to get explanation why nobody came to my home and was told they had numerous calls for repairs. I asked for a manager to call me back and I was told somebody would contact me next day.
Tues came and went and Nobody called.
I called back Wednsday and spoke to Customer Service Manager ( Dahlia) and explained situation and she offered No options accept to offer me another apointment which O declined. Some sort of discount would of went a Long Way. Since she didnt offered anything I requested a Full Refund
Mercurio's came out to take a look at our HVAC system. Unfortunately, the diagnosis was incorrect. The thermostat called for Auxiliary heat even though the thermostat was registering only 1 degree below the set point which is an error. The technician gave An estimate was for $4,633 to replace the outdoor TXV and recharge with new R-22 rather than recycle the existing refrigerant.
This did not make sense to me so I reached out to another very reputable HVAC contractor for a second opinion. He reported that the heat pump was operating just fine but, the problem was at the thermostat. So, he rebooted the thermostat and reset to factory default settings and that solved the problem. No more auxillary heat until a 2 degree diferential was detected. I am glad he was able to solve the problem with a simple service call.
Update; their service manager apologized for the error and sent me a full refund for the service call. I would consider calling them again in the future.
Some great things, one major issue (still unresolved 6 months later). We had an outdoor generator installed and a new break panel installed.
The sales process was excellent and they had phenomenal communication in planning the install. They were very clear about helping choose between the options. The installation process went mostly fine, with a few issues with an electrician's work - who Mercurio's removed shortly thereafter. The generator works perfectly.
Where the project fell short of expectations we regarding getting the propane work inspected by the city. Several months after the install we still had a 10 foot long, 3 foot deep trench running through our yards because we can't fill it in until its inspected. We started emailing and calling mercurios. For 4 months we got no response to our weekly enquiries. At most we got ""We will check on it"", but then go zero response. Finally 5 months later, I was able to reach a very competent person in the company who tracked down why they hadn't reached out to the inspectors office yet. She actually got the inspector out there with a few days later.
However, the inspector said Mercurios never filed the Master Plan (or similar name) so he couldn't inspect it. That was 7 weeks or so ago. He told Mercurios to submit the plan to him. I've called and emailed 6 times over the past 7 weeks. The best answer I got was that one of their staff needs to make the plan - and they asked if I would nudge him. So I texted him, no response.
So now the trench has been open for half a year creating a hazard for kids and animals... and I still have no timeline or info for when they are going to get the inspector what he/she needs to approve it!
