Our company was initiated by Alex & Elsie Menyhardt in 1928, focusing on Plumbing Services. In 1957, their nephew Steve became part of our company and significantly enhanced the Parts Department, which turned into a Crucial element of our Business. Our Parts Department has consistently expanded its Repair Parts by maintaining Competitive Prices & Providing Expert Guidance. We remain dedicated to stocking difficult-to-find items. If Menyhardt Plumbing doesn't have it, or can't source it, it’s likely no longer obtainable.

I am the third generation managing Menyhart Plumbing & Heating Supply Company. Created by my Great Aunt Elsie and Great Uncle Alex in 1928. After they passed, my dad, Steve Menyhart, led the company until his death in 2018. I have been involved in our family business since 1986.

My dad recommended that I visit this shop to buy a thermocouple for my malfunctioning hot water tank. I called and they advised me as to the correct part to purchase. The part was affordable and my hot water tank began working when I replaced it. I wish other plumbing supply shops had their level of knowledge and inventory. Definitely recommend.

These guys not only know their stuff, they have an awesome inventory, and are problem solvers. I brought in two 70 year old American Standard stems that were leaking and Rick was super helpful in getting me headed in the right direction. Without special ordering anything, he provided new washers and even put them on the brass stems for me. His help and expertise leads me to believe I gave this antique sink another 30 years of life. That's good stuff!

THEY DON'T OFFER A ZERO STAR RATING SO ONE IT IS! Always willing to pay a little more to support a ma and pa type store but not with the treatment I received. Paid 75% more for a part only to find it looked like it was re-boxed, tried it anyway because it was a crucial part to operate my furnace. My suspicions were well warranted. The part was not only defective but very dangerous. Returned to store next day expecting a smooth exchange, what I got was called an idiot and told they do not warranty parts for journeymen or home owners. After an hour of dickering they decided to insult me more, refund my money and discontinue doing business with me. I'm sure this doesn't happen to everyone that comes in or they would not be in business. I apparently must have a kick me sign attached to my back! Went on line, found parts 75% less with free shipping but now I have to wait at least 3 more days to have a normal operating heating system in my house. Seems to be the trend with brick and mortar stores. What a crying shame!
