James came to my home due to water spigot leaking. When he arrived his replaced a part and told me the bib needed to be replaced due to the pipe freezing and quoted me $600. I mentioned I wasn't paying that because I didn't pay that amount to get it installed. As this was under home warranty, he told them it was frozen pipes so they didn't cover the charges. I have since contacted my plumber and low and behold, the pipe NEVER was frozen and busted, I'm fact all he needed to do was replace the washers inside and all would have been good. But now, the part he replaced wasn't 1. Not put on properly and 2. Was not the correct part. So since he did that I have now come more out of pocket. I will be contacting my attorney on Monday and thus company. I have pics but they won't post

Not sure what all the bad reviews are for this company came out to cover something under our home warranty, and I have nothing but good things to say. Fixed the problem and did a great job, didn't get overcharged and there was no up selling. The lady on the phone was amazing and super attentive.
I read all the reviews on here and was fearing the worst, but maybe they've changed things around.

We had a terrible experience with this company. Everything about them is unprofessional. Worst experience I've ever had with a company. If you're considering giving them your business save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

I had a putrid smell coming from my garbage disposal. I saw that it was badly rusted. I put in a request to my Home Warranty company & they sent Melton plumbing 2 days later. My serviceman was Brian. Contrary to the many of the comments here, I was highly satisfied with the work that Brian did. He did warn me, and called the warranty company in front of me, that the Warranty Company would only pay for the replacement if it was broken. The phone call confirmed what he said. I did not want to wait until I had an awful leak that would cause other damage in my kitchen and wanted to get rid of the horrible smell. Brian was honest and did a great job replacing my disposal. I would highly recommend Melton Plumbing.

American Home Shield dispatched Melton Plumbing to fix a leaking pipe in my ceiling. While they were investigating the issue, they cut into the ceiling, revealing some black mold. During their cleanup, they used a shop vac with no bag or filter which resulted in moldy drywall dust being blown throughout the lower floor of my home. Their techs also did not come with any tarps to use while cutting and had to ask to use mine. I immediately notified melton plumbing who said they would pay for mitigation. I got a mold mitigation company to come in the same day to place an air filter and to test the mold. Once it was confirmed to be stachybotrus (black mold) and confirmed that it had been blown into the air, I got a quote from the mold company and sent it to Melton plumbing. The bill came to just over $2,000 I did not even try to recoup the cost of vacating my family for a few days. It has now been months and Melton plumbing has repeatedly given me the run around and refuse to give me any details on when or how they intend to reimburse me for the damages. The owner has been extremely rude, going as far as suggesting I'm lying and hanging up on me.

In the meantime, I am still stuck with a hole in my ceiling and am out $2,000 thanks to their horrible service.

EDITED: This company came out and corrected the issue without charging me anything and that is just good business all around!!! I thank you Melton Plumbing for making this situation right!!! You do not normally find this with home warranty companies! I would definitely recommend any company that are ready to right any mistakes. That is a true testament of an upstanding business!!!

I see I'm not alone with my opinion. I was woken up at 7:15 this morning to be told my window for arrival was 8-12. Thing is, call was supposed to be from the plumber between 7:30-8 telling me which person I was on his route. Obviously not the case. It's an hour later and I get a response to my email requesting better information saying they're CANCELING.

Thing is THEY DID THIS LAST WEEK except didn't even contact me: I had to keep calling their ridiculous phone lines where nobody answers and voicemail boxes are full to find out nobody was showing.

Another home warranty victim here. If you're assigned to Melton Plumbing, do yourself a favor and request a different plumber. WHAT A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME.

If there was an option for Zero stars I would have given that. My home warranty company assigned the water heater pipe leakage to this company and I deeply regret not reading the reviews written here.
The technician who came over literarily lied to us saying that it is out of coverage and AHS only covers water heater leaks and then wrote to AHS that the pipe was misused resulting in the leakage or it wasn't installed properly!! AHS denied the claim saying it is not normal wear & tear.
We have stayed in this house for 6 years and this was the first time we noticed the leak. The water heater and the piping is close to 12 years old.

Stay away from this company please!!!!

I am currently on hold with AHS complaining about this subpar horrible Melton Plumbing outfit! They never showed up after my wife was home from work waiting per the scheduled time they gave us of ""between 8AM - 4PM"". Does that sound familiar to anyone out there?! I'm easily giving this bootleg Melton Plumbing a (negative 5 )! They even lied and had the nerve to convey to AHS ""we missed the appointment"", when they never even showed up.
In fact, as I'm writing this review - they still have not responded 24 hours later to me or AHS, who is actually reaching to them.
This Melton Plumbing is full of the stuff that plumbing pipes carry away!
NEVER EVER use this company!! Makes you wonder if they even have a license to do plumbing. It's apparent they do have a license to steal though..(smh).
