I called MelRoy to do 2 jobs at my house. The first, replacing a laundry tub, went well, the second was a little trickier. I had a leaking tub diverted that needed replacement. This job required a little more thought and innovation due to tight space where the pipes were located. After finishing the laundry tub installation, the plunber said he did not have enough time to tackle the diverted replacement (I had already bought the replacement diverted part). Before leaving the plumber told me the office would call and reschedule. I immediately thought he did not want to take on this job due to the effort required and sure enough, a week later, no one from MelRoy call me back. Very frustrating, since they basically cherry picked the easier Job. At that point I looked into fixing the leak and found that by replacing a couple of O-rings, with out replacing the entire inverter fixed the leak. Too bad the plumber from MelRoy could not figure that out.

I called Melroy because they are a Catonsville business. In the future I will call others because I know now, there are better choices.

After two visits from my home warranty company to diagnose a problem with a bathtub faucet, Melroy's Mr. Bent listened to my concerns, went the extra mile to work me into his day, leave work, pick up his truck and and fixed the problem in 15 minutes and discovered it was nothing more than a simple aerator clean out of the faucet. The two other contractors did not even touch the faucet and were recommending that the tile surround be torn apart before they could diagnose, at extra costs of over $600.

THANK YOU MELROY FOR HONEST, EXCELLENT EXPERTISE AND SERVICE! Trust in a vendor is vital, and I would trust Melroy for any job, big or small.

I can't rate their actual service since I was just called at 5:55 p.m. to cancel an appointment for 8 a.m. tomorrow which I had scheduled a week ago. Melroy ""overbooked"" and the only day they could offer me was 8 days later, when I am not available. The man who called me had a ""too bad, sorry/not sorry, we don't really care"" attitude. I will not call them again since they are not reliable or dependable and I suggest no one else call them either. If you do, just be forewarned that they apparently don't consider appointments to really be appointments. Now I'm off to find someone who CAN fulfill an appointment that they make.
