I awoke 7:00am on a Saturday morning to find that my hot water tank was leaking. Terry was quick to pick up my call and tell me what steps to take to control the leak. Within minutes the leak had stopped. He stopped by a few hours later to confirm the fact that I needed a new hot water heater. He took the time to check with the distributor to see if my old water heater was under warranty (which of course it was not) and we made an appointment to replace the water heater first thing on Monday morning. Terry was prompt and I appreciated his attention to detail (pulling a permit to do the work). He was clean and explained what he had done. I would definitley hire Terry again.

Master Plumber, Terry Doherty did an excellent job for us on our upstairs bath (new toilet and shower valve repaired) as well as installing a new kitchen faucet, an under-sink water filtration unit and a new filtered water faucet. He also teaches plumbing and it is obvious that he cares about doing careful work. He doesn't mind an audience and was happy to explain the difference that a little extra effort (greasing O-rings) will make to the lifetime of my new faucet. He even showed me how to caulk the seam on my counter top and left me extra caulk. He responded promptly to e-mails and phone calls and let me know when he was delayed in traffic. My experience is corroborated by numerous reviews on Angie's List, so I am surprised by the previous review.

What little work he did for me was okay. I found him to be a little unreliable. I understand emergency jobs come up and you may not get to me on the day/time we agreed, but at least try and call me - my time is valuable too and I'd rather reschedule than sit around waiting. The last time I made an appt with him to come and install my new kitchen faucet, I sat around waiting and he never showed up or bothered to call. Sure, I could have called him and rescheduled ....yet again .....but it was easier to find another more reliable plumber.
