I had an issue with an exterior drain that was inherited when I bought my home. Imagine a long 50ft pipe from my backyard that drains to the street. The drain is mainly used to collect rain water. Long story short, I found out that roots had over taken the pipes. To what extend I have no idea. I simply called a plumber and they ran a camera system and provided an estimate for hydro Jetting. I had a feeling the estimate was high so I conducted my research and learned as much about hydro jetting as possible. Ex. Cost to purchase the equipment and so forth. The equipment purchase would've saved me $500 and I would've been allowed to keep the equipment. However, I had to pitch the idea to my wife who knows that I'm no handyman. I knew I was out of my depth. I called around and found Francisco from Melody Plumbing. From the moment we connected he was exceptional. He came out the same day and tried to snake the line. I think he soon realized the issue was much more severe and provided an estimate to replace a section of the line something that would be a permanent fix versus hydro jetting - roots would simply grow back. He came out the next day and began working and found a root that you can see in the picture. Francisco spent the day working and resolved the issue. Everything was clean and professional as one could image for a price that was fair and not unjust. You can trust him which I find to be the most important aspect of hiring a contractor. My tankless water heater went out. I contacted Melody Plumbing and Francisco came out the same day. He worked hard to try to fix it. He didn't charge me anything. I ended up having to buy a new one (the old one was pretty old). Francisco was back the next day with a new one. I am very pleased with his work. He is very friendly, but still professional. Our Water Heater was broken during the weekend and we had to take 3 days cold water shower. We called the Service Provider that did the installation of the Heater and they said they will charge us $123.00 for them to come in. We then looked for the local service provider in Yelp. They came in and checked. Then they gave us several plans and tried to convince us to replace the new heater which the cost will be over $5,000 and they said we can finance. I decided to search another service provider in Yelp and finally I found Melody. I read their reviews and decided to give them a try. They checked the heater and said we just needed to pay $160.00 to fix it which included the parts. Then they checked the water pressure and found it was high. They help us to changed the valves which charged us $290.00 which can save our water bill. We are very happy with their service and honest. We are keeping their contact for future and we are very happy to refer them to our friends and neighbors.

Update: In total with this plumber and the other one I had to hire to fix the problem I'm out over $500. Way to expensive experience :(.
the base of the new faucet was not sealed so it was leaking. The plumber that came to fix the faucet that was not properly installed.Won't be using ever. Called in December because My sink was leaking .When plumber checked I was told leak was due to sink strainer I had called because it was leaking and there was water under sink and I told that to the plumber when I called him. He inspected and he said it was due to strainer. So we changed it .Fine we changed it (cost about $160) I thought it was ok price even though it was such a small part but I thought at least my sink will stop leaking. I was wrong I had to call back again in late February because our sink was leaking again. Our faucet was super rusted I'm Not sure as to why the plumber if he did an inspection the first time didn't realize that the leak was due to the rusty faucet and not the strainer. I had purchased the the faucet and when the plumber installed he did not mention any concerns with the new faucet and he installed it. He also played with a small clip that was attached to the faucet saying he didn't know that when you Unlatch it the small hose comes off and water spills to the cabinet below. Not only did he play with it 2 times with water in the sink it wet under the sink he laughed the second time. I was shocked on how unprofessional that was. Now after a month or so I noticed water under the sink. I didn't think I had to keep checking every day especially after a plumber installed the faucet. I guess I had to because if water falls at the base of new faucet it leaks below.doesn't seem that it was installed correct. Now I'm out of money and still have leaky sink. I had purchased easy install kit. He did offer to return to reinstall but it's true what they say: fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. The 3rd time is not an option. I'm out over $300 and still have a leaking sink.:
