We have Noritz tankless water heater, Meir Plumbing is on their web site as a provider to perform services for the water heater. We contacted Meir and set up an appointment to come do a de-scaling which is required in a yearly basis to insure long life. They made an appointment we waited around for them to show up. About one hour before the appointment they called to re-set we were a bit upset but understand things happen. When the second appointment came they were again a no show. We called the office and were told they were concentrating on their ""commercial"" accounts and could/would not be able to assist us. In our view they were less than honorable as a change of this sort in strategic direction does not happen overnight. At the very least they should have finished the ""non-commercial"" jobs and advised then they would not be able to provide the service in the future. In addition both Noritz and Meir should remove their name as a service provider. It is misleading and annoying at best.

I've used Meiers many times and again just last week. I have never been disapointed with their service. The first time they came to our home in Orange, they even did a video of the slab leak in order for us to submit it to our insurance if we needed to. Last week when they came out to our house, I had called to make a last minute appointment a little before 4:00p.m.. If they had come after 5:00p.m. then I'd be charge an overtime fee, however they called and said they were on their way and would try to finish the work before 5:00p.m. which they did and I was happy!
I always have a love/hate relationship with yelp because those who might have had a not so good experience will definitely yelp a negative review, but those who received great service sometimes don't get around to it. I'm surprised to see Meiers has negative reviews and didn't know until I decided to yelp for them.

Update 4-10-15
I have spoke to the VP and he has agreed to assit me to get Noritz to cover my part that went out again. Apparently the Noritz product at the time I purchased it, was not made for hard water and did not offer the H2Flow system back in 2012.
1. had them install a Noritz tankless unit in 2009.
2 2012 unit leaked and Noritz waranteed the part and Meier Plumbing told me that I should buy a EW Water Filter system so the Heater Element would not go out again. So I did at $500. I did not get a manual and only verbal instructions, which come to find out later were incorrect
3. I started to worry as the needle on my filter was not moving after 1 yr. Called Meier and they said it was fine.
4. Now it was 2 years and the needle on my filter was still not moving very much. They sent out a tech and they said it was fine and for me to contact the manufacture for instructions and filter replacement questions.
5. 2015 Heater Element went out again, Noritz would not warantee unit as they stated the EW Water Filter is not a recommend system only a H2Flow system or a soft water system.
6. So my home insurance will not cover repair, Meier won't and I just had to pay $700 to get another Heater Element.
Lesson learned, Check you water hardness as Noritz units do not do well with Hard Water. Buy or rent a water softener ASAP.
PS - The Santa Clara address is a home and their mailing address only. I was told their business is on 3870 E. Eagle Dr. Anaheim. CA 92807

Love the guys at Meier Plumbing. They are prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and affordable. I've used them twice. The first time, after getting an estimate on unclogging my bathroom drains from a company that wanted to knock out the walls (for huge amounts of $$), Meier plumbing sent two young men out who went up onto the roof and shot water through, then went to the clogged drains and did their thing. It only cost $250.
This time, my pilot light on my water heater had gone out and wouldn't light. Chris came and fixed it very quickly and affordably. Yay! Thank you, guys! I highly recommend you.

Today was the second time I had them come out and the second time they've left me less than satisfied. Both appointments were for my Noritz tankless hot water heater. The first time it took no less than 3 separate technicians and as many days to solve my problem due to their incompetence.
Yesterday my Noritz gave me a code 61 error, I looked it up and that code indicates a problem with the fan motor. My regular plumber (4 Pals, whom I LOVE) told me that they are not certified with Noritz so I was forced to call Meier again. (I know, I know I should have called Noritz directly, lesson learned.)
First, the technicians showed up 2 hours before I was told they would (good thing I was home). After opening my unit they came and announced that it was the fan motor. Umm, yeah, I know. I told them that yesterday.
They proceeded to tell me that they do not have the part so they will have to drive to the warehouse and pick it up, meanwhile I will be charged $150 an hour AND just for them walking in the door I'm being charged $150. The part will cost $97.50 (If I want to go get it myself I can get $30 - 40 cheaper than that). So, before they even do anything I know it's going to cost $400 IF they can pick up the part in less than an hour.
I called my regular plumber (4 Pals in HB, they rock!) and explained the situation. As a point of reference, 4 Pals charges $97/hour for labor. They talked me off the roof and recommended that I call Noritz directly. So I did.
OK, to their credit, when I called and told them I didn't want their technician to come back AND I didn't want to pay the $150 just for the tech to show up (two hours early and telling me what I already knew) they immediately agreed.
I've made a personal note in my records to not call them again.

This company employs inconsiderate irresponsible plumbers. When charged with performing a critical plumbing project at a large apartment complex, housing hundreds of people, you don't turn off the water to the complex prior to the hour announced by management to the tenants. Bodies covered with soap, including mine, bombarded the management staff with grievances; complaining loudly about the lack of professionalism and decency exhibited by this company.
