I made an emergency appointment for Saturday. Was told a technician would arrive between 12-1pm. No Show. Called at 2:45pm and was told that they would get ahold of the technician and I would be called. No call back, no show. Called again on Monday because I really needed my plumbing issue resolved. Was told again that technician would arrive again between 12-1pm. No show by 3pm. I called again and left a message with no return call and no show.

Megarooter plumbing is awesome. I highly recommend using them when you have some plumbing issues. I had some crazy roots growing into my main pipe and they were fast did their job and were very reasonable in pricing. Tony was an awesome technician that came diagnosed the problem and worked on the repair and Luis came with some amazing technology that actually located the spot that was causing issues.
I will always call Megarooter when I need some service and I recommend them to anyone that needs help.

We're very happy with our experience with these guys. The kitchen sink blocked up, on a Saturday, of course, and they arrived within a couple of hours. They had a partial fix that day but warned us that our 70-year old cast iron drains were in terminal condition and would need major intervention. They came back Monday and spent about five days on the job, even working through Tkaanksgiving day. The cost was high but, I think, appropriate for the size of the job.

Seriously, the WORST customer service. Luis is so unprofessional. And he's the owner! He's a capital ""L"" LIAR. Don't believe anything he says, he will overprice you, not have job completed even though he says ""you guys are high priority because this is an emergency"" BULLSHIT!! Won't even answer his phone when you call because he doesn't show up when he says, and forget about getting notification that he's going to be late, no. He shows up whenever the F@#! he feels like it. Horrible, I can't stress enough DO NOT USE!!

I wish the technician Tony was the owner. Can't say enough nice things about him. He actually cared. He is too good for this awful company, he deserves better.

Returned for a short trip and while taking shower and washer going, water began to back up into shower - Eeks! Called several plumbing outfits, and first to have a tech available same day was Mega Rooter Plumbing. They had a special price for drain cleaning and sent tech within 2 hrs. Eric arrived had mask on and put on foot coverings and toured houses plumbing situation. He tried the only cleanout located outside, but couldn't reach the plug-up. All my cleanout accesses near the plug up have been made inaccessable due to remodels over the decades. Last resort was to lift toilet near plug-up and snake from that access. He quoted the price to do so, and price was reasonable given the complexity. Eric R. did a careful removal of the toilet, set down coverings to protect flooring in bathroom, motorized snake cleared the plug-up, he flushed the line, removed the snake, kept area clean. He replaced the toilet with new wax ring, caulked the base of the toilet and fully cleaned up afterward, and he was very pleasant and communicated each step to me. Could not have asked for more. Would definitely recommend and use MegaRooter again.

Called yesterday and spoke to someone, I was told it would be a free estimate to see the cause of the leak. However, when the inspector came out, he said that a leak detection is $150, he would only open the water to see where the leak is coming from. I told him I was told it was a free estimate, declined the request. What bothered me the most is his attitude towards when he was leaving, he sarcastically said ""yeah this is the hardest job of the day"" with a huge attitude. Even if I was thinking to call back and use the company, guess what? Not again at all. Really bad attitudes given out there. I have previously lost other jobs, I wouldn't just go out there and give out attitudes to people.

I wish I could write a review on the service off this company. However, I can only write a review of the unprofessionalism and inability of the staff to allocate resources.

September 7 2021:
I called and explained my issue that a plumber suggested hydrojetting the line if we had trouble in the future. My original plumber said that it would take several days to come out so I contacted Mega Rooter.

I was told that someone would be out between 3 and 4 PM that day. I received a text and email confirmation said I'd have a technician out between 3-3:30. 5:30 came, I called and asked if there was a technician still comin. The answer was yes. By 9:00PM I gave up and realized no-one was coming.

September 8 2021:
My partner calls the same company and they say they have no record of my call. I have an email and a text expressing the opposite. She gives Luis her contact info, her email address and our address... again. This time, she did not receive a courtesy email or text message of the confirmed time. She calls at 1:30 and speaks again with Luis. She asked if anyone was still coming and he said ""Yeah, we can have someone out there... What is your address?"" This would have our third time giving our information. At that time, she was over it and told Luis that we would look for another company. What she got back was a call shortly after 5 pm from a woman asking if service was still needed. She said she could have someone out between 7-8. She already had an appointment scheduled for Friday and politely declined. Already been stood up twice, we did not believe them.

Summary:
I saw the great reviews on service. When I called I was greeted by a ""Hello!"" that's it. No acknowledgment of the company or how can I help you. It was a bad sign. I then spent a day waiting for a plumber with no call about not coming even though I called to ask and make sure they were still coming. My partner tried the next day with similar results. We know what we want, but apparently that isn't what they want to serve. I highly recommend against this company. their customer service is rude, and unfaithful

They sent someone out within 2 hrs. Eric was fast to unclog our toilet line, and communicative. I found out my toilet flange is the problem.
