This company is really bad there a company that take advantage and lies they came out to my property and said my main line was broke and wanted to charge me 25 thousand dollars. I called my brother in law to come take a look and he told me it was fine it was just plugged. It only coast me 150 to get cleared

We recently had a terrible smell coming from our bathroom and called Mega Rooter. They were able to readily diagnose the issue, our pipes under the house were full of roots and had caused damage to the pipes. They had to go in with a camera to find out the problem. Mega had to dig up our bathroom floor and repair the pipes. They were extremely professional. In addition, they were very respectful of our property. All floors and walls were protected, they cleaned up completely when the job was complete and removed all trash. This project took several days and I mainly worked with Miguel, he was awesome. We also had Mario, Luis and Misel on the project, each one was awesome. I would highly recommend Mega to anyone for their plumbing needs. Thank you Miguel for being so wonderful!!

This company is a joke, they don't answer any calls when I have a plumbing problem, they get no stars and no recommendations on this company, how can a plumbing company function like this, its sad and ridiculous!!

How can anybody in this company function when no one can respond to a plumbing call, not even the owner Luis trujillo?? It's ridiculous, and when they did after 4 hours, they were waiting for the camara for over 4 hours, just to give an outrageous price...ridiculous

Called this morning to get help with a clogged kitchen drain and was told they would be at my house between 2 and 3 pm. Tech guy called later and said he'd be here at 4. Called him at 4:30 to ask when he'd be here. No answer. Called business and they were surprised he wasn't here. They said they'd contact him. Again no call to me. So I called business again and they said he couldn't make it after all and they didn't know that. they offered to send someone else but it would take another hour or more in I5 traffic. I cancelled request ... Now I'm stuck til tomorrow and will call a business more reliable .

This company is FAKE they maKE promises THAT THEY R going to show up at a certain time and they never do the owner LUIS always MAKES PROMIES TOO show up within an hour or so and we're waiting for like 4-5 hours there fake They pay Yelp for good reviews

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience with this plumbing company. The tech was very nice but came to the house at noon, looked at our kitchen sink clog and stated he ran a 12 ft snake and it wouldn't clear the pipe. He stated the pipe would definitely need jetting. He quoted me $1300. I said wow for just a kitchen pipe? All of our other sinks and drains are fine. He then said he can offer 15% off. Mind you all of our other sinks were fine and it was just the kitchen sink. So a quoted $76 clogged drain turned into an over $1000 job. My husband and I were skeptical but the tech said he would talk to his boss Luis to negotiate price. While doing this he left our house and he didn't properly close the clean out and it flooded our kitchen. I call the office and tell them and they tell us to turn the water off and the tech will call me. He does call and he apologizes says he's at another job and still hasn't talked to his boss. My husband was pissed and decided he would start making calls and find someone else. He does find someone else and hires them. At this point I made Luis aware of what happened and he had no idea about any of this. I call the tech and tell him not to come back we hired someone else. He ends up coming to our house anyway and offers to jet the drain for a quarter of the price with a lower pressure. This annoyed my husband and I even more considering he could have offered that in the first place and he flooded my kitchen. Just an overall terrible experience.

Ultimately we had a great guy come to the house with different company did a phenomenal job and was extremely nice and well priced.

They recently did some work at my mom's house in San Diego and she was very happy with everything. The customer service, the reliability and the timely manner in which everything was done was great. We will definitely be calling them again for any future plumbing needs.

Mega Rooter replaced my old cast iron sewer pipes, and overall I was pleased with their work. They were pleasant, easy to schedule with and showed up on time. However, I do have a few concerns:

1. On the day the project was originally set to begin, they showed up to start work without securing a permit first. Replacing pipes requires a city permit, and had I not asked about it I'm not sure it would have been done. This delayed the project for over a month while we waited on the paperwork.

2. I was told the pipe replacement would take 3-4 days, and during the pipe burst I would be without plumbing service for 4-6 hours. This seemed very reasonable. There were apparently some unforeseen complications with the project which resulted in it taking 7 days to complete. However, my biggest concern is that I was left without plumbing service for 3 days. I eventually had to check into a hotel in order to use the bathroom and take a shower.

When I mentioned this upon settling the bill, I was asked why I had to check into a hotel. When I explained that I was left without plumbing for three days, I was told, ""Oh, I didn't know that. The guys said you were okay with it."" No one would ever be okay with being left unexpectedly without plumbing for that amount of time. Had I known ahead of time, I would have made other arrangements for a place to stay, but the only information I was given by the workmen each day was ""a few more hours, a few more hours"" until it was 8:30pm and they had to leave.

It seems as though communication among the various workers throughout the week was incredibly lacking. I was also told (after the fact) that they are supposed to set up a temporary plumbing connection if they have to end the day without finishing the plumbing work. This never happened.

Mega Rooter did cover the cost of the hotel stay, which I appreciated.
