I contacted Medina Plumbing to install a new kitchen faucet after a recommendation by a trusted Contractor. Mr Medina was described as a former Marine and an honest man.
The plumber sent his son and another young man to do the work. The fellas were sweet, seemed knowledgeable and weren't bothered by my dachshund that wanted to play ball. The guys also called the manufacturer about my dishwasher (which had only been used about a half dozen times since my house was built 3+ years ago) before it started spewing water out the sides. I heard the guys say "we have hot water" before they left. After they did leave I had errands so I took off. Later in the evening i find that I didn't have hot water but only cold water running. I called Mr Medina who said he'd come another day. In the meantime I contacted my Marine brother who is a retired appliance repairman, he advised me as to what to look for. I did and found the hot water off under the sink and that the hot and cold connections were reversed. While doing this I found a small leak at the connections directly below the sink. I again contacted Mr Medina where I advised him that I discovered said leak that I was unaware of. Mr Medina never showed up for his appointment with me. I called him again and asked for the courtesy of a return phone call, 2 weeks later I have not receive that courtesy.
I paid $75 for the plumber to just come to my house in New Braunfels. The total $225. Do I know if this is a fair price? No, it may very well be.
Regardless of whether the work was what I paid for or not, I would at the very least have expected that this leak, of which I was unaware, been discovered by a qualified Plumber. Unless of course those connections were loosened by the plumber himself who didn't tighten it back properly. (I don't know if this is what happened) I have NOT RECEIVED A RECEIPT DESCRIBING WHAT WORK WAS DONE.
Bottom line, I would not recommend Medina
Best Plumbing to anyone. Nor would my Marine Dad or my Marine Colonel Uncle.

Saves the day on a Sunday! Came by within hours to unclog a drain affecting the whole house. Appreciate you taking the time to explain everything you did and how things are plumbed. Eloy is friendly and personable; I am very comfortable having him at my home. Definitely recommend!

I called this company for a plumbing emergency involving a major indoor water leak at my 95 year old Dad's house. One, it took this company almost 3 hours to respond from my initial call, and two, his "professional" prognosis wasn't even close re the problem. He said we had a ruptured water heater - simple. When I arrived later that evening, expecting to see the problem resolved, what I found was water still gushing from under the walls. My dad's cleaning lady, who was frantically trying to mop up the water, explained to me that she tried to tell the plumber that it couldn't be the water heater because the wood floor underneath was too dry and that she heard a hissing sound from within the wall, opposite the bathroom lavatory location. He apparently ignored her advice. She was absolutely right - a ruptured cold water line feeding the bathroom. So thanks, Mr. Medina Best, for the 100 + gallon mess I had to clean myself - not to mention the trip to Home Depot for emergency plumbing fittings to cap it.

Medina Best Plumbing helped us out of difficult situation when we were selling our house last year. We were updating the bathroom fixtures but had much trouble installing them. Medina to the rescue!
