I have American Home Shield who sent medallion out for a leak in ceiling. Medallion sent out a young guy who said he could not get to leak, then he said he did not have the proper tools to fix plex pipe supply lines, I asked if he was a plumber? he said yes!, I asked are you certified? he said NO, but his boss said to say he was a plumber!!! then he said it was the fiberglass insulation that bothered him, then he said he was afraid he would fall through ceiling. then he said my Boss thinks it is a roof leak, but has not rained in months! then he said that an AC person would need to come and disconnect duct, and American Home Shield would cover, after calling his boss again he said he was late for next appointment and had to leave. To top it off before he left I asked him if he was a plumber and he said yes. Three days later I called AHS about AC person disconnecting a tube, and was told no we never do that, that is a different type of call, so they said they would re-assign!
Turns out it was in fact a leaking connection in the plex tubing, which took less than an hour to replace and test.... Bottom line is I would not recommend! Besides you would think that they would send a plumber!!!

Used Medallion plumbing for the first time this past week. First plumber to show up on time in a very long time. Educated me on basic plumbing knowledge and what I can do in the future to prevent problem. Thanks Medallion, I'll be recommending you!

Technician didn't even try to solve the issue. He was going to overcharge by 475$. We had another plumber out the very next day and only charge 75$ for time to clean out garbage disposal and we paid the costs of the new one. If you home warrant chooses them - deny them and request someone else. HORRRRIBLE

I'm very happy & satisfied with the service I received from Medallion Plumbing. They were assigned by American Home Shield home warranty company for a dishwasher & kitchen sink back up. They contacted me right away to schedule an appointment, kept me informed of the service tech's arrival & he arrived on time. 'Keymo' was extremely professional, knowledgeable & friendly. He adhered to the Covid protocols (mask, distancing etc). He knew right away what the problem was, explained it to me & fixed it quickly. I'm in real estate & I know home warranty companies send out a lot of different vendors, some of which are really bad, but I couldn't have asked for better service:)

Technician came out for a leak in my crawl space on a raised foundation. He said the repair would be ""easy and no problem"", he just wanted the standing water removed and left. I spent half of my weekend under my house removing the standing water and scattering cat litter and baking soda as the technician requested. He returned a few days later, went to the repair space, and did not do the repair. He claimed if he made the repair it may cause other problems and left. My AHS home warranty has now assigned my case to a more qualified plumbing company which I'm certain will make the repair that should have been done a week ago.

once American Home shield finally assigned Medallion Plumbing to my situation they were exceptional and did the very best to install my new hot water tank. Their plumber was quick and professional. I would recommend their service anytime

Had someone come out to fix a leaky tub faucet and he was great. He worked quickly but was very helpful and gave me some great tips. Extremely reasonable prices and I've made sure to tell my neighbors about them.

Worst case scenario! American home shield dispatched them to look at our water heater. We explained what was going on and that we deducted it could be the thermocouple - usually a quick and easy fix. The tech then said that it had swollen and rusted shut. Then went on to say we had intentionally damaged the unit, removed parts, and neglected it. The insurance company declined our claim and we appealed it. The second company that came out took one look and replaced the thermocouple in about 20-30mins. 45 mins later we had hot water throughout the house!

This company's tech jeopardized our home warranty and our equipment which is the worst case scenario for a home owner. Would urge this company be inspected and audited.

If you live in or near citrus heights do not use medallion plumbing. They replaced our toilet in sept. and there was a leak under our tile the grout started coming up and we called them. Robbie came out and after working on it for awhile he said the toilet was not the problem maybe a pipe was leaking. After he left no more water seeped up. This was yesterday and today no water seeping up. Why not just admit the toilet was the issue and he fixed it. Do NOT USE MEDALLION PLUMBING.

We got connected to Medallion Plumbing through our home warranty. They quickly scheduled the earliest appointment with a large window, 9am - 1pm. Was not a problem at all this time. Keymo called around 9 to let us know he was on his way. When he got here he was wearing a mask and he worked so quickly! We weren't sure how long the project would take, we needed our pump replaced and not only did he work quickly but he helped show my husband how to do it in case we need to in the future!
