Cameron took such good care of us after a nightmare with our warranty company. Our AC went out over the summer during the 118-120 heatwave. We took a cash payout from the warrant my company (NEVER do business with American Home Shield) to give Cam when he let us know he ended up the part needed to give u air. He no longer needed it, but reached out to let us know he could help us and gave us the option before returning the part. We were ready to suck it up and deal with the heat and a small portable AC for the bedroom. With the pathetic payout from AHS and help from loved ones, we finished the summer out with AC and a one year warranty. Thank you for everything Mechanical Express!!

I previously posted a five star review for Mechanical Express on December 1, 2022. The review was posted at the request of the owner Tammy who had indicated that numerous bad reviews were harming her business and that a good review would help her struggling business. Even though Mechanical Express had not yet completed their work on the job at my home related to a 2"" water shutoff valve, I felt compelled to post a positive review so that Tammy would finish the job as promised. Despite fulfilling my part of our agreement, Mechanical Express deviated from what they said they would do and never finished the job.
This is an update to my prior review and should be a cautionary tale for anyone consider using Mechanical Express.
First, Mechanical Express rescheduled and delayed their return visit to my property, and only after numerous attempts to contact them, did they finally come back out to my home. Once back on site, the plumber improperly removed the 2"" water shutoff valves, and without permission or consent, disconnected the water softener and the reverse osmose filtration system that had just been cleaned and which had just had the filters replaced.
After disconnecting the water softener filtration system, and not repairing the actual leaking valve, I repeatedly reached out to Tammy to discuss the situation and to come up with a workable game plan to remedy the damages Mechanical Express had caused.
Despite numerous attempts to resolve the poor work that had been done, Mechanical Express abandoned the job, refused to return the valves they removed and ignored my requests to come back and fix what they had broken.
Days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months and nothing was done to rectify the damage Mechanical Express caused. The water softened / filtration system has been ruined because it was left to dry out as the system was improperly disconnected and simply left to rot, and the previously leaking valves have not been fixed as they were simply removed.
Due to Mechanical Express' unwillingness to respond to both written and telephone requests, I eventually was left to file a complaint with the Nevada State Contractors Board. It took quite a long period of time for them to investigate the problems, just so that I could proceed with filing a lawsuit against Mechanical Express for their negligence.
Unfortunately, as with many of the prior one star reviews for Mechanical Express, this is the follow-up of how bad things got with Mechanical Express since I posted my premature positive review. All I have tried to do since the job was abandoned and left to rot, has been to contact and work with Mechanical Express. Mechanical Express and its owners have been non-responsive and have shown a complete disregard for fixing what they damaged.
I am truly disappointed in the unprofessionalism and poor performance by Mechanical Express and by its owner Tammy, and I would not recommend using them.

Our furnace stopped working a few days ago and we were worried it would need to be entirely replaced at a hefty cost. Tammie was very helpful and responsive in scheduling an inspection for the next day, and Cameron was very kind to come in with his expertise. It turned out that the issue was due to the limit switch being triggered, and that we did not need a replacement. The inspection was done at a very reasonable fee. I was in a panic when one of my AC units stopped working at my school. For obvious reasons we have kids in the building and it was getting warm quickly. It was one of those bad luck situations, as soon as it was a warm day in vegas and we needed to kick on the AC for the first time in months it went out on us. I originally called the HVAC company that the landlord of my commercial building required me to deal with, although they came out and inspected the problem that's about all they did, they couldn't give me pricing for a new unit and told me the office manager would have to call, I explained it is urgent so if they could get it over quickly I would be so grateful, in our line of work we do have regulations about indoor temps and risked having to close down if we couldn't get this handled. Needless to say by the end of the day I still didn't get a call or pricing to get the ball rolling on the repair. By the next morning I had it with trying to deal with that company and called mechanical express they came out in less than an hour, inspected the unit, gave me the run down of the problem and my options less than an hour later I had a detailed quote, the other company finally got me a quote and they were almost $4,000 more than Mechanical Express they had all kinds of questionable charges and then couldn't even get the job done until 3-4 days later which wasn't going to work for us. I went with mechanical express and I'm so happy I did. Tammy from the office was pleasant to communicate with, Cameron the technician was great, and understanding of how important it was to get this fixed, he even brought a portable unit and set it up in the classroom to help keep the room cool while awaiting the repair. The unit is on the roof so it required a crane etc, they completed the job on Saturday which
Was perfect since we were closed and it didn't hinder them or our school. Cameron even serviced our other unit to make sure it was in good repair and ready for the summer heat. They never charged me a service call to come out and look at the problem which is awesome because everyone else charges a fee, even the company I first called tried ripping me off and charging me $90 an hour for inspecting the unit and tried to say it took the tech 2 hours to inspect but I have cameras and proved they arrived and departed within 40 minutes and I provided that proof and disputed the invoice now it's crickets from them and they won't address the incorrect billing and just keep sending an invoice for the 2 hours they didn't work. Needless to say I'll be using Mechanical express from now on for everything HVAC, and plumbing needed, they function and treat customers exactly how business' use to years ago, they value and respect their customers, provide a good, efficient, and timely service, and bill honestly. Hands down one of the best companies I've worked with in a long time. I have many more needs between my multiple schools and my own properties I'm already lining up the next job I need with them. Thank you mechanical Express for taking our needs seriously and working diligently to get our classrooms cool and comfortable again for our students. Thank you for showing me respect as your customer and understanding the urgency of it all along with giving me a reasonable price for a new AC Unit and install. I highly recommend this company!

They were assigned to us through our home warranty company, and we would definitely request them again. They were quick to get a technician scheduled and out to our house, and he was quick to get a new water heater installed so that we could have hot water before the holidays.

This company was sent out to repair a leaking water line in front of the house through HomeServ, a warranty company. Although the leak was repaired they absolutely destroyed my landscaping and offer no resolution to repair it. They buried my irrigation vault under at least 6"" of dirt. Pushed raw Nevada dirt over the top of decorative rock and landscape features. I asked the tech to love the decorative rock aside and all he did was push with his foot and then pile dirt on top and around areas that had no business being affected. He came back to finish the filling in when I was not home. The jokes are barely filled in. There are areas where the stone is 7-10"" below grade and dirt piles that are over 12"" above grade. This is acceptable to them and HomeServ as HomeServ offered a stipend to go away and Mechanical Express is Jon responsive. DO KOT USE THIS COMPANY DIRECTLY OR THROUGH A WARRANTY COMPANY B

I have a problem with my heating going on and off and this is under a year old so the parts are covered but not the labor. I had this company come out. The guy came out a couple times he thought it was the thermostat and he replaced the thermostat but it did it again and he thinks it's something else now. I paid $400 for a thermostat and service. I didn't even need the thermostat and nobody can figure out what it is.
