I came home from a business trip only to learn our hot water heater had bit the dust. My husband researched switching to tankless, and Meares was one of the TECO recommended partners. He was able to schedule for the very next day and even bump up our time that same day. The gentlemen they sent to our residence were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and patient as they saw the job through and answered all of our questions. They will definitely be at the top of my list for future plumbing needs - lets just hope there won't be any hot water heater purchases for another several years!!!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS. They installed a tankless water heater that they don't understand. Two issues in only a month and doesn't work with my washing machine because it is """"too new"""" - no hot water for laundry. They didn't know that the Navien unit ordered wouldn't work with new energy/water efficient laundry machines. Called me """"very rude"""". I'm pissed off, wouldn't you be if you spent over $1600 for a unit that isnt compatible with your washing machine? Somehow, I was supposed to know this?!? I was very careful to ask a lot of questions before purchasing but I relied on them to educate me...that was my mistake for thinking they were """"the experts"""".

Kevin and Justin recently came out to install the Enviro water filtration system that I wanted in my home and did an excellent job! They were very professional, polite and considerate of my property. For space saving reasons, I wanted the unit in a specific spot and not only did they make it work, but it was apparent that they strive for perfection during install. I have been a Diamond Member at Meares since the first time Kevin came to resolve a plumbing issue over a year ago. I appreciate their honesty, and the fact that I can rely on getting the plumber I started with who knows the work done so far. Keep up the good work!

Adolfo came out today and did a great, we were very pleased. Not only did he do a clean job, he was very professional and polite, this coming from a woman and man who was in the Plumbing business for 25 years. Very impressed!

Paid $60 for an estimate. Wanted to charge us $750 just to run a water line to our new fridge!! That includes $380 charge for getting in the attic!! This company is a complete rip off!! Do not call them for anything!

I chose meres plumbing based on reviews that were positive. I was charged close to $200 for a flapper and fill valve on my toilet. Because I was out of state I was forced to pay it, Because I physically couldn't go to my residence and fix it myself. So be aware you will be charged a service fee of $65 just for them to come out and $95 an hour for labor which is by far the highest in the state. Would not recommend this company to anyone nor would I ever use them again.

On January 29th, Meares replaced my old traditional water heater with a hybrid electric water heater quickly and without any issues. It works great and I was very pleased with the service I received. The staff all seemed friendly and knowledgeable. No hidden costs, either, which I liked. I'd definitely recommend them to others. In contrast, I had originally requested a quote from one of their competitors (R.J. Kielty) for a hybrid / heat-pump water heater. The person they sent knew anything about this style of water heater, which wasted my time and left me frustrated. I then contacted the general manager for that location via email, to let him know about my experience. I never heard back. If you're on Yelp looking through the reviews because you are having trouble deciding, just go with Meares... You won't be disappointed.

I have used Meares plumbing at both my home and office and I am always pleased with their service. The level of professionalism is unmatched by any other company in the area. I have also referred them to friends and family who were as impressed as I am with their work. I purchased a water softener from them and I now prefer the taste of my tap water over any bottled water.
