I highly recommend MD Plumbing. The quality of the service is excellent and the charges reasonable. We had 2 toilets that were not functioning as well as a non-functioning kitchen sink. Mark figured out the least expensive, most effective way to repair them. I mostly interacted with Mark and Kimberly who were extremely professional, pleasant, thoughtful and accommodating. There was a problem with my phone resulting in my unknowingly missing a scheduled appointment. They were very understanding and re-scheduled without charging me for the missed appointment. Chris also worked on the sink and was great as well. I will call MD Plumbing for any future pluming issues and recommend you do the same.

When I bought my home, the kitchen sink had a nice feature where I could push the faucet handle, rather than lift the handle, in order to get purified drinking water. But that became a problem when I learned that the manufacturer has stopped selling the filter cartridges, and it looked like I might have to purchase a whole new faucet. Mark was able to adapt my faucet to a different kind of cartridge, and I am very happy with the results. Mark is a very efficient guy, so it was nice to find out that - when the situation calls for it - he can also be a creative problem solver.

In early February our indoor flood control system was starting to backed up and needed to be rodded out. I contacted several plumbers until I found the right one.

The first plumber came and said it didn't need rodding. He poured several gallon of water in it along with some Pine Sol and charged us for his services. Less than two days later the same thing was happening. He could not do the job and refunded our funds.

Another plumber wanted to remove the toilet in order to rod out the sewer. When I asked him if he was bonded/insured he said no. I don't have to tell you what happened there.

However, the day before the non-bonded guy was to come to our home I called MD Plumbing & Sewer because I didn't get a good feeling from the other guy over the telephone.

Upon calling MD Plumbing & Sewer, I spoke to Mark (the owner, I presumed) and after describing the problem he gave me a quote over the phone.

I explained to him that I had a guy coming already, he said if you don't feel comfortable about him just tell him you want a second opinion.

After the non-insured guy left our house I call Mark late Friday night after the other guy left our home. He asked me to contact the office Saturday morning after 10AM. I did, no answer however, before I could call them back the office called me.

Kim was very nice and asked me what day did I need the service. I replied how soon can they get here. We made an appointment for Monday between noon & 1:00. I called after 1:00 because no one had arrived or called to say they were running behind. I thought they'd forgotten the appointment.

Upon calling the office, I spoke to Kim, she apologized that no one had called me to say the guys we're running late. After she spoke to the workers she informed me that they should arrive within the hour.

The workers, Gary & Tony arrived shortly before 2:00. They were done within 90 minutes.

The workers cleaned up as best the could knowing that we were going to do a complete and thorough cleaning, sterilization and disinfectant once they departed.

My husband stayed there with them, I couldn't take the smell. We are both very pleased with the work that was performed.

We would highly recommend MD Plumbing & Sewer. However, the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 stars is the tardiness without notification. Otherwise, we are very happy to know that we have finally found a plumber we can trust.

Do not hire MD Plumbing to install a pedestal sink. Marc and his employees have proven themselves to be complete incompetents at this task. His employee, Greg first attempted the installation without using a leveling tool. This resulted in a sink basin that was obviously not level. Greg and the other employee, Chris try to convince me that this was due to the imperfections of the sink surface. On the second installation, Marc attempted to ensure the sink was level, but he did not remove the pedestal (that Greg caulked to the floor) and therefore failed to center the pedestal under the sink basin. I've emailed Marc asking for a refund of this incompetent installation and he has been non-responsive. MD Plumbing cuts corners and is deceptive. Avoid them if you want work done well and with integrity.

I am very happy with MD plumbing and sewer today! When I called a few days ago they were very professional and scheduled me in quickly. Mark called ahead to let me know he was on the way. Since moving into another old house neither outdoor water supplys worked correctly. One leaking into our laundry room and the other just trickling water. Mark arrived and first impression was wonderful. He was very pleasant and got right to work. He diagonosed the problem and had to run out to get a part which didn't take long. Total took about 1.5 hrs start to finish. I am so happy to have an outdoor water supply. Thank you Mark for saving my arms from lugging gallons of water from inside to water my plants! It was very affordable and I would definitely use him again.

I think 4.5 would be fair but I'm going to round up. These guys replaced my water heater and fixed some screwups that the original installers did. This changed the cost which I would have appreciated knowing prior, but Marc was great about talking me through it and he met me in the middle on price. He was professional and pleasant, and the guys in the house left my place clean.

I called them again this week for a faucet installation. I had bought the replacement and another company wanted to charge me $550 (!!!) to install it. MD Plumbing came out within a few days (my old one was still functional) and installed it in a half hour for $125. $425 saved and Kim at the office was great the whole time and the plumbers who did the work were nice and professional.

These guys are great, you won't regret it.
