I called MD Plumbing to fix my electric water heater. Mike was amazing in diagnosing a number of issues and efficiently resolving them. The hot water heater was only a year old but was incorrectly installed from a previous Handy Man repair as the heater never provided adequate hot water. He also noticed another leak in my basement and provided me guidance. He is professional, knowledgeable, friendly and reasonably priced. I highly recommend Mike and MD Plumbing and Heating!

I highly recommend Mike from MD plumbing and heating. I needed my tankless water heater replaced. He busted his butt all day until I had hot water. Very professional, honest prices I highly recommend him. I would also suggest if you don't already have a tankless Hot water heater you look into it nothing like endless hot showers no matter how many people in the family While saving money since they are energy efficient :)

Mike was honest, professional, and fairly priced. I sent him a message via Yelp to describe my boiler issue. He promptly called me to further discuss and confirm my address. 45 minutes later he was at my front door. It couldn't have been more than 2 hours from the time I sent him the message to the the time the job was completed. The short turnaround was just a bonus. Even if I had waited half the day, his work was so neat and efficient that it would have been well worth it. I will continue to use this company for all my plumbing and heating needs. Took a chance on MD Plumbing based on the stellar Yelp reviews... and now I'm adding another 5-star rating. I've been looking for a plumber I can trust after several bad experiences with the trade in the past. Looks like I've finally found a reputable master plumber that I can trust... and bonus!... Not only is Mike's service affordable, but he cares about what he's doing in my house. Took care of some small repairs I've been putting off. And now he'll be retuning for a bigger project after finding a hidden issue in our shower that has been causing other problems in the system. If you need a fantastic plumber you can trust, this is the guy. Courteous, professional, affordable master plumber.

UPDATE: I had Mike back to repair the shower in the upstairs bath that unbeknown to us was leaking (slightly) in the wall and was the cause of a larger siphoning issue in the second floor plumbing. Mike had to remove part of the wall to get in behind the shower and repair/replace the damaged components. Given the challenge and complexity I was a bit anxious but the issue was no match for his skill. I was put at ease by Mike's calm and professional demeanor. And he was very neat and methodical about zipping it all back up. I'm very pleased and would recommend this highly skilled master plumber to anyone without hesitation. I found Mike on Yelp and I'm so glad I did. We needed a plumber on short notice to replace a broken toilet in my parents home. Mike promptly returned our call, listened to our problem, told us where to buy a new toilet and what kind to get, and did the job for a very reasonable $185. My parents are old and leery of plumbers since the last guy who came and replaced their kitchen faucet basically took advantage of them and ripped them off. After doing the job, Mike called us and told us how it went since we had already left town. We appreciate Mike's promptness and honesty and good customer service. We will definitely call him back to do some more repairs needed in my parents house.

I am at the end of the kitchen remodel when I called MD Plumbing and Heating after a kitchen contractor failed to properly install my toe kick heater on a Saturday. I came home to a house that smelled of gas so I had to shut off the heating system. I called on Sunday expecting just to leave a phone message but Mike answered the phone. He was professional courteous, and friendly. I arranged to have him quote the work. He arrived on time and went over my options for repair and explained the necessary items that would be needed. I felt confident that Mike knew how to do plumbing work and had the skills to back it up.

I hired him for the installation of the toe kick heater which occurred on Friday and hoped that the failed installation of the toe kick heater by my kitchen contractor did not cause any major problems with my heating system. I wished the answer was no but upon final installation and test of the heating system my boiler was dead. I had Mike quote a replacement boiler since the old one I had was 20+ years and replacement parts were nonexistent. He came on Sunday and installed it. I am happy to say I have heat again in my house. The new one is smaller and the new piping and vent work is professional and clean looking who knew a boiler could look so good. I have all the items the old boiler never had shut off valves that you can reach without having to be on a ladder for both water and gas, on/off switch for service and I know longer need a drip pan for water. The bonus is Mike called on Monday to make sure everything was working properly that is good customer service which is hard to find.

I will be calling Mike back to finish the plumbing work in my kitchen and for any other plumbing work I need to have done.

Mike is professional, courteous, knowledgable, friendly, plus he was willing to answer any questions I had, but the real PLUS, were his prices... If you need a great plumber, who is knowledgable, friendly, prompt and courteous, Mike is definitely the man you want to hire for the job! Not only was he prompt and on time, he was also willing to switch our appointment for an earlier time, when the job needed to be done much sooner! We had tried other plumbers in the area, we are still waiting to here from them, one call to Mike got the job done!
