I should have known it wasn't going to turn out well when it took 4 days for Kathy to return my original call.Waited for 4 hours for them to show up to fix a running toilet ( mind you I was a longstanding client) I called 2 hours in and 2 1/2 hours later I got a call saying they don't send their workers out in the bad weather( I drove home and took 4 hours off from work and apparently that was no issue for them) I'm not sure what bad weather was the issue as I was at T.J. Maxx shopping when she finally did call me back. "" Perhaps we should have called you to tell you that"" I guess if you have a heating issue or a burst pipe you can count on them not coming if there's snow on the ground and not bothering to give you the courtesy of a phone call saying they weren't coming...The most ridiculous and unprofessional excuse I have ever heard. It will be interesting to hear what the company who is showing up today will have to say when i ask them what their policy is in 3-4 inches of snow.

We had a burst water pipe, it was already late in the day yesterday, but we called Tuttle/McNulty Bedard since they've rescued us before. They were kind enough to come that night, as soon as it was possible, and fixed the problem!

My initial discussion on the phone , was to set up a cleaning and have my furnace checked for efficiency. I was told that the earliest appointment was 6 weeks out. My furnace was running problem free so I made the appointment. The day the service was to happen, nobody showed up. Four days later the service man shows up. when I told him all I want is a cleaning and an efficiency test he told me that he does not have the proper equipment to perform the test. He proceeded to take the furnace apart to clean it and breaks the motor in the injector. He tells me he needs to go to the supply house and get a new motor. I believe he went to get a used motor from an old injector. He returns with the motor and installs it. He calls me down to my basement to show me that I have another problem with a oil leak in the injector and he will have to order the part. He fires up the furnace before he leaves and I noticed a loud noise coming from the injector. He told me he will order another new motor and will replace it when he comes to perform the efficiency test. He will call when the part comes in. ""Never to be heard from again"". Be very careful of Mcnulty and Bedard.

After waiting a month they finally showed up to repair several dripping faucets. A few days later one of the faucets started leaking badly. I call them since they a claimed their work was guaranteed for a year. After several phone calls they never responded they just ignored me.
I finally had to get it fixed elsewhere. It appears the new spring may not have been installed properly. I would not use them ever again for anything.

***BEWARE OF MCNULTY*** I've been burned by HVAC companies before and this was no exception.. I called MCNULTY heating for my central air unit.. They explained that ""we have upfront pricing"" so I decided to give them a shot. The owner showed up nice enough guy, we had a nice conversation, found that mice had eaten through some of he wiring. He then explained that he could get the job done for $150 but, no more than $200! I figured ok, you need to replace some wires for couple hundred dollars, let's just get this thing done. I know how these thing go, you get paid on what you know. So, I agree... A lot of small talk , some jokes back and forth he completes the job.. AC is working he noticed the pressure was a little high. I asked him what was involved. MCNULTY explained, I just need to clean the coils.. At this point I understand that there is now some extra work involved . He never explained ""upfront"" what the pricing increase would be. At this point he had his foot in the door and now up sold the customer.. He then sprayed the coils with cleaning solution.. No big deal right?? Wrong!!! $150 to ""no more"" than $200 turned into $534!!!!!! $334 more to spray a half of can of cleaning solution on some coils. I question the bill, he said ""I assumed you knew there would be an increase with the bill and giving the customer the bill is always the hardest part of my job""! How many times did he use that line. I replied, ""I know nothing about how you invoice your customer, and you should have disclosed that the bill would be more than double the original quote... He refused to give me his card and left the property. What a great company , said no one. They lie to get the job and hit you with a invoice that's completely unreasonable... I would shop around for a reputable HVAC company... Do not settle for these guys. I will file complaints with the BBB and also the Attorney General.. I hope to save at least one family from this Predator...

My bathroom sink was clogged and I unhooked one end of the flexible pvc pipe to try to correct the problem. I was unable to reach the clog and when i hooked the sink back up it leaked. Our usual plumber was ill so we looked up a local plumber and came up with this company. We called on a Thursday and obtained an appointment for the the following Monday, the plumber was to arrive at our house between 8-8:30am. The plumber was an hour and 20 minutes late, spent about 25 minutes at my house and charged me $208. He fixed the clog, replaced a gasket, and reattached the pvc pipe. I have been a home owner in need of many services throughout the years and have NEVER been charged such an exorbitant fee for such a simple service. Beware this company is listed online with many different addresses in the central Mass area.
