Called them on January 30th and set an appointment for February 14th to install faucets, drains, etc. and hookup newly installed undermount sinks in our kitchen and bathroom. Appointment was set for 10:00 a.m. Guess what? Yep, we heard nothing but crickets! Tried to call at 11:00 to see if they were coming but went straight to a secretary's cell phone voice mail, so I left a message but never received a response. 1:30p.m. I called and reached voice mail again. So I left a message indicating we had obligations so we no longer would be at home waiting for them and that we were pretty sure they were going to be a no show, therefore our message to them was we no longer needed their service. Piss poor service in our book and we will not be recommending McManemy Plumbing to anyone (pretty sure they don't care either)!

Be warned, they want $300 up front and $125 an hour from there. From the rude response over the phone, it seems maybe they don't want anyone's business. I know things are tough and spread thin, but this is ridiculous.

We called to have a clogged toilet cleared. We had an appointment. They never showed up, didn't return phone calls. We had them do a project several years ago and it went great. Maybe change in people?

Same complaint as all the others before me.
I called on a Monday and needed assistance with my kitchen drain backing up into my
laundry room sink. This had been going on all weekend which means no dishes or clothing being washed.
The gal in the office told me that I would be next in line and expect him sometime after 2:30.
Of course I was home early just to make sure I didnt miss him. At 5:00 pm I decided to call them back and get an ETA and got the voice messaging instead.
No return call and I don't expect one after I read the reviews which I didn't do before I called.....shame on me !
How does anyone stay in business with this kind of bad customer service?
I

I would give them 0 stars if I could. Do not call these people. They are nice on the phone. Make an appointment, tell you they will call if the appointment has to be delayed on cancelled. Had an appointment for 10 AM. Never showed up. Called at 11:30 and left a message. They never called back. That was a week ago.

I too have had the enjoyment of calling and calling and hearing excuses these local companies give... Or don't give. My experience was the same as the other reviewer. Made an appt, no show, attempted to call and clueless people on the others side. Felt like these people cared little about the consumer and even less about their own self worth. A friend looking for a plumber (2 days ago) setup an appt with this company. I wished her luck and said god I hope they treat you better than I. Well day of the scheduled appointment came and left. Calls made, promises to call back made and yes no one showed no one called

5-4-16 I had leaky hot water tank. Called for install they said no problem, to call when I get it home. 1 pm I got tank and told them when I would be getting it. 3 pm I call no answer I know all calls go to the lady's cell that works there so she sees the calls. So 5-5-16 i call off and on all day. No answer no return call I have no given up and moved on. Seems to me I was a back burner call and not enough to make a priority since it was not a big job. What a crap way to do business. After reading reviews seems this problem happens a lot with this business. Obviously wont be back and I will make sure I spread the word.

Wish I could give a zero as they deserve all of that. We called and made an appointment for 9am. At 10 am we called girl said she didn't know what was going on and would find out and call us back. At 11am no call back and now won't answer wife's calls. I called on my phone and the girl picked up and still didn't know what was going on. We were sure at that point we didn't want these people in our house....but still wondered if they might contact us with some excuse. That was 5 days ago and still haven't heard a word from them. We waisted a day but learned who not to use/recommend in the future. Lesson learned. After reading other reviews this seems to be how they operate. Hard to believe something like this can keep going on and these guys still be in business. Customer service, cost and word of mouth can make a business very successful if they are good .....and vise versa. I should have checked Yelp first. We called Wilson Plumbing they were out the next day....when they said they would.

Had a appointment for these guys to come out and fix a drain problem at a rental home. The day of the appointment we hired someone else to pull up the floor, mind you renters live there. Floor is pulled up/ called company no response, called several times after... Still nothing. A few hours later after waiting at the rental I decided to call from another phone number. Jackpot! Of course they had a emergency call and couldn't get to the job... Said that they would call back... Still nothing.. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy! They should have called long before we pulled the floor up... If I could give them 0 stars I would!!

Got a quote to replace a commercial water heater in July 2015. After a few calls back and forth the lady in the office told me they would order the equipment and call to schedule. After no word for some time called to follow up with no return calls. On occasion did get a hold of the same lady in the office who would give some excuse and tell me they would order the equipment and schedule the job. Rewind to the same old dance of calls not being answered, etc...
Fast forward to Dec 2015 and I stopped into the Welcome Inn for a burger and sat near a couple at the counter having a few drinks. Overheard them chatting with the owner of the Welcome Inn about the job they did that morning and one they had to go do later that day (after the liquid lunch). Noticed that the guy had a McManemy Plumbing hat or jacket (I don't remember which) so I asked them what they do and they both said they work there at McManemy.
We had already decided to give up on them long ago but maybe my experience can save one of you from the same crummy experience.
A word of advice to those of you that work for or own a business. Don't sit at the bar for lunch having drinks and talking about the job you have to go do later in the day while wearing the company logo and with the company truck parked across the street. Just bad form.
