We're back and forth from Laguna to Los Angeles, and Los Angeles to East Coast, so getting anything done around house is inevitably a hassle. We have to schedule carefully, sit home for long windows, then longer still when trades are inevitably late.

We had a particularly unique situation. The property is fed by a pumping system off of a city reservoir. The pumping system is set up with a VFD (variable frequency drive). It was initially set up to maintain 150 psi. The pump with cycle on it 110 psi and turn off at 150 psi. All of a sudden the VFD was telling the pump to start up at eight psi and turn off at 150 psi then immediately go back down to eight psi. With the help of their technician, Juan, we were able to figure out the problem and correct it.

Ruben is the best plumber ever! We had leak outside our house on the city side. Ruben is a very strong and skilled plumber with authority to turn off water however the city's valve was frozen. It was better for the city to shut it off versus risking cracking valve. He got the city to come out within an hour. Ruben then replaced our ""unusual sized"" leaking valve and in the same day he repaired a leak under the kitchen sink and a leaky faucet in a bathroom. Would highly recommend McKeown plumbing and will use again in the future.

I tried to do a ""do it yourself"" plumbing repair yesterday! Alas, that was a disaster,
and I really thought that I had created a disaster!!! I called McKeown Plumbing (after their closing hour, but they answered ), and they had David (& David!) here today at 1:00! When I showed them what I had tried to do (replace a shower valve), the first thing that he told me was that it wasn't a big problem and that it happens to people all the time (the old valve broke in the plumbing!)
I should have called them the first place, but it was great how McKeown took care of this, and I was so relieved!!! Thanks!!
