Talion answered my call for help to fix a burst pipe in the garage when everyone else was booked. Reasonably priced for last minute emergency help. Quick repair. Couldn't ask for more.

If I could give a zero I would. I was treated SO rudely. Disrespectful and no interest in working. I would never waste my time calling this business for any service, I use the term ""business"" lightly. Not sure how you can run a ""business"" like this. If you look at his negative reviews you will see he responds to them and always seems to have some sort of excuse. He says he has bills to pay and all I wanted to do was give him work and we didn't even get to the point to discuss fees.

Edit: add on to a follow up phone call he just made. Yes, you never did work for us, you never gave us the chance from the moment you picked up the phone.
He called back and chewed us out using the most horrific and disgusting language I have EVER heard. Just had to hang up, terrible language. We were always very kind since the beginning.

Almost 1 year to the date our previously installed water heater broke. It was installed at a great price after my daughter built a website for Talion. The water heater had a six year warranty. When we called Talion out to see what the problem was, he immediately started accusing us of doing something ""shystie""to the water heater. He also told us if we did something shystie, the water heater company would sue us. I was insulted and told him so, but he continued with an accusatory attitude. He then said he would have to charge us $500 to re-install a new one since our warranty covered the water heater. We went through the weekend without hot water but he came over Monday to re-install the replacement. Everything seemed to work well when he left but by Friday there was no hot water. The pilot light was out and couldn't be restarted. We called him on Saturday and he said he would charge us $315 to come out. I then texted him if he guaranteed his work and I immediately got a scathing phone call. He blew up on my husband and said he was running a business. I would be careful about using him for any plumbing business. We now have to find a new plumber. After speaking with other plumbers, I was told to report it to the plumbers licensing board.

Not a great experience. Called in McKenrick plumbing for an emergency plumbing issue and their rates seemed reasonable until the bill came. After round-ups and ""fees"" the hourly labor rate was $400/ hour, and questioning that rate was met with aggression. I'd find a different plumber- many options in town.

One of the few times yelp has failed me. Horrible experience, worst I've ever had with a plumber. Had to hire another plumber to re-do the job. Not sure what happened between the good reviews and now, but avoid at all cost. - Edit: This was most certainly McKenrick Plumbing.

My hot water heater died over 4th of July weekend. I called on Monday, the guy was super nice and said he could squeeze me in today. He came over, assessed the situation and had a new hot water heater installed and running in about 2-3 hours. He charged a reasonable price as well. I've lived in Tahoe for over 24 years, this was the best experience with a local plumber I've ever had. Thank you very much Talion! Highly recommend this business.

I cannot say enough good things about Talion. He is easy to communicate with, provides a timely response when called, and was able to schedule a quick appointment to address our minor plumbing need. All that and he does an excellent job as well. I would definitely use him again and again.

Where do I begin ? We were in the process of looking for a commercial plumber who was local. We jumped on yelp and started calling places, either no one was interested in the work ? Or were just too busy to take on building a coffee roasting shop from literally the ground up. Talion the Owner of Mckenrick Plumbing was also busy himself with residential jobs and a restaurant job, however him being the local Rad guy that he is . He took the job ! He also jumped right on it , Talion had to cut into the concrete floor and lay a new drain , he ran piping all throughout our shop. He was fast and efficient. No problems at all with inspections ect. The best part is that he has now fit us into his busy schedule right away to install all of our equipment. I would hire Mckenrick Plumbing for all of our plumbing needs. He is honest , local , & a all around great guy ! If you are ever looking for commercial or residential plumbing? Talion Mckenrick is your Plumber. Thank You Again Talion !!!

You never spring a leak from 9-5, it must be written somewhere! So there we were with a leak discovered in the early am, not terrible, but slowly eroding an inside wall. Then the phone calls began to various plumbers. Talion not only answered quickly, he responded in record time. Everyone else ( 5 different plumbers) either didn't respond or wanted us to wait several days. Talion quickly diagnosed the problem and had it all fixed within an hour. This is a professional, thoughtful and knowledgeable guy that I can recommend highly. You won't be disappointed.
