Excellent service from installer Jimmy. Took the time to install a difficult sink perfectly. My mother enjoyed talking with him, he answered all her questions.
Above and beyond. When to drain stoppers did not match one was brought to the house immediately.
Thank you again will be doing business with you in the future
I went into the showroom and told them what I wanted. I left all of my info and was told that I would receive a call back. Never heard back..looking at the other reviews, that likely was a blessing..
The first demolition of the bathroom went well and that is about it. Note the word first demolition. The floor was so poorly installed by McKennas (with the excuse from their installer that it was due to large tiles) that I had to call the sales person to finally have them re-do it. That demolition was awful. They made a complete mess into the adjoining bedroom which we were stuck cleaning, scratched threshold 2 inches (but tried to tell me it was just dust), uneven tiles in shower stall which if I could attach photos to this would make you wonder why they are still in business. The cabinet seam split but no responsibility taken for that. I wanted someone else to re-do the work but was told it had to be the same person since he was already paid for the work. So yes, he re-did the work but still not to the level one would expect from this company. The foreman said he would be in to help fix it which he never did come back to fix it. Tools left on toilet seat scratched the seat cover and even the faucet was scratched by the time they ""finished"". I went to pick up a new seat from them and had them send me the faucet handle and will install myself. I declined having any of them back for the cabinet . It was just an awful experience with these people, empty words/promises and watch the expenses on the supplies that are over-ordered. Big mistake on my part choosing this company. By the way, the owner refused to take any of my calls and left it up to the sales person. A lot could have been remedied if there was some pride in customer service. The sink countertop was outsourced to a company that actually did a great job.
Went in twice to find countertops and backsplash. It's a fairly large project. The staff ignored us both times. One pointed to a floor tile display and then went back to his computer. They did not seem interested in my business at all. They apparently have all the customers they need. I will not bother going back in the future.
Dan Mckenna outlined the bathroom exactly as we had envisioned the project. They paid attention to detail and were very meticulous in not disturbing family life for eight days. Frank proved to be the best bathroom craftsman i have ever seen. I will be returning to McKenna's for future projects.
Alla B.This company is very snobbish, they really do not want to listen to what customer wants, and push for more work to be done than needed. Also, very very slow in response. It took a week to call me back for at home evaluation and I am waiting over 10 days now for the next step to set up. They never fail to praise themselfes though which is kind of suspicious.
Fixture removal went well after waiting 8 weeks for the new shower and vanity, but after everything was removed and the new partially installed we were informed that the new vanity top was wrong. They never checked before starting the demolition. They stated that a rush order would have the correct one in 2 to 3 weeks. 8 weeks later we findly have a new bathroom waiting for the painter to reschedule the finish work. I can not believe they don't check the supplies before they destroy the old. I made a plywood counter top while we waited. Also the first shower only had cold water so they had to come back and make adjustments. Never checked things the first time. .
We had a complete kitchen installed by McKenna, and we could not be happier. From the moment we entered their showroom facility to the completion of the project, it was a wonderful experience. We started by meeting a kitchen design representative, and he was extremely helpful in designing our new kitchen with many helpful suggestions. Their display showroom had all the components to piece together to see how everything blended in. Then we worked with the project manager, and he was very consciousness of every detail. He outlined our 4-week project schedule, and there were no delays. Every phase was on schedule. He did a tremendous job of organizing and overseeing the entire project. He followed up each phase with an inspection, he even rinsed down our driveway after the ceramic flooring was completed. The installer was tremendous, excellent carpenter, excellent cabinet installer, and all around perfectionist for all the aspects he took care of. The electrician was also excellent, and did a very good job wiring, installing ceiling fan, and light fixture, including under cabinet lighting. The ceramic tile installer for the floor and the backsplash was very good, fussy about the layout making sure everything matched. The plumber did a great job setting up the plumbing for the kitchen sink and the relocated dishwasher. There were no problems with the entire project. We are very impressed, and we have recommended McKenna's to anyone interested in remodeling/installing a kitchen. Thank You McKenna.
D. B.The owner called me a punk after i asked him to come fix my lawn after he tore it up to fix a part on the septic tank. Not how i would treat customers nor would i leave a job leaving someones lawn looking like a battlefield. Take a look at the pictures
The item selection were great but customer service was very very poor. I did not feel valued even thou I made a large purchase I think the gentlemen was not clear or truthful or should I say forth coming when it came 2 question I had he displayed very poor customer service skills I thought maybe do 2 the fact I was a walk in, and did not have an anterior designer with me or a contractor referral. Or maybe that's the way they conduct business on a day 2 day bases which is very unfortunate. Good customer service is first and so important it makes the hole experiences and it made a poor impression on me. I will never buy at that store or send a friend for that matter......
