Efficient - friendly - reasonably priced!
We are struggling with the mess made by the contractor on our newly constructed home. Plumbing issues galore - including a bathroom leak and bright orange water that stained everything it touched. Matt was recommended by a neighbor (he solved similar problems for her). He came out immediately - gave up his dinner time. We were astounded at how quickly he solved our issues and at a completely reasonable cost. We will call Matt first, always.

We hired McKean Electric to do electric and plumbing work for us, and we found him to be very trustworthy (he would even come to the house when we weren't home to do work) and when he is here he does good work at a lightning fast pace. He is also rather thoughtful and good at making helpful suggestions. When we hired him, we told him there was no rush on our work, and it was a few months before he started. But as I said, we never told him that we needed anything done right away. I would recommend McKean Electric to anybody in the area who needed plumbing or electrical work, as he did a very large job for us mostly alone, and the work was very fine. We plan to re-hire Mckean Electric for our future projects.

I called Mckean and received a prompt call back. He came by 1 pm the next day, fixed the plumbing issue as well as doing an additional item I requested once he was there. He took time to explain my water system and charged me a reasonable price. I would absolutely call them back when needed !

Our families have been using McKean Electric for our plumbing and electric needs for over 30 years in both my father's and my summer home, as well as my relatives homes, we have never been more impressed with his professionalism, reliability and the ability to go over and above with what was asked of him. I have had several emergencies over the past several years and he was always there when I needed him. Bottom line if you need the best for your electric and plumbing needs McKean Electric is it, on his last visit he even helped me chase 4 bears off my property before fixing my water pump!

The first time he came by we thought he was pretty good but he hemmed and hawed about his tight schedule. We called him again a month or so later but it seemed he was still so, so, so busy that he could only squeeze us in even though we tried to schedule him a few weeks in advance - so we gave up calling him.

I don't know if he's really so busy or just lazy or it just makes him feel important to tell us that he is, in any case, there are a lot of others out there without the song and dance routine so we moved on.
