Hired him once for an easy spigot valve swap in the back yard. He came same day, in and out in ten minutes and very reasonably priced. I'd definitely use him in the future.

We have used several plumbers over the years, I think McIntosh is the best. The others did the job and left, the two jobs he did he stays and makes sure the pipes didn't leak, and the furnace was completely bled and worked well. The extra time and attention he takes is very reassuring and the sign of a professional.

We met Frank when he responded to an emergency call to repair our oil burner. Frank came on time and repaired the defect as soon as the part was available. Frank's price was fair and he was very pleasant to work with. He responds to emails 100% of the time. We subsequently used Frank to convert our home to gas heat and to run the line for a gas fireplace. Again, all the work was done on time, his prices were very fair and the work was professional and very clean. Frank is very knowledgeable about heating systems and didn't try to over-sell us. It is nice having a plumber you can trust. We will use him again.

The service, professionalism and courtesy was outstanding! I called during a time when many of my neighbors pipes had burst. My kitchen sink sprung a leak beneath and wasn't sure if it was a pipe or not. Frank was the only plumber who returned my call! We set up a date and he came to fix both my kitchen sink and replace the guts in my bathroom. The work was done very quickly and there was no mess to clean afterwards! And he was so good with my yapping puppy the entire time! The rates were very reasonable. I would highly recommend his service!

I called McIntosh plumbing and heating inc. Because my pipe burst outside after snow storm we just had. I am not happy at all with how I was treated or talked to by Frank he was extremely unprofessional and assumed that I was looking for a handout because I inquired about the service fees before he did any work on my home because he wanted to rip up my wall and cabinet to see if there was a shut off valve behind it. I explained to him that my husband was out of town and that I needed to call him real quick to communicate with him on what services needed to be done, and how much they would cost before giving the go ahead being that we were paying with my husband's card. He huffed and puffed and chuckled and said ""ha what you thought I was coming out here for free?...look I got things to do and other house calls I could be making its going to cost you $125 anyway for just having me do a house call with no work so you owe me $125 anyway? I said sir I know nothing in life is free I don't like your attitude, tone of voice or body language and that you would even assume that I thought you were coming out for free.... Nor did you ever mention to me what the house call fee was. Now money Is not the issue since you assumed I have no money you will get paid for the service you did not provide already.....you didn't even touch anything because I haven't even showed you where anything is yet and your attitude is unnecessary out the gate. Against my better judgement my husband said to use him being that it is 2 days after a snowstorm and we have a 2 month old baby in the house who needs water and Heat and 7 other companies I contacted do not have a plumber available until the end of the week. I do not recommend his services he is not personable or professional as he ordered my step son to pull cleaning supplies out of the cabinet so he can look under it. Not asked him if he can move the stuff as if we were supposed to know there is a shut off valve behind my cabinet that is drilled to the wall for a garden hose outside. It would behoove you as a business owner to treat all of your customers with respect and professionalism.
