Had McGoldrick Plumbing come out today. Noticed a leak last night that was getting worse. The technician quickly saw where problem was coming from and recommended best way to fix. Price was very much in line with expectations. Great work by Joe M. Thanks McGoldrick Plumbing for being there....again!
Did a great job installing a washer and dryer in an unused closet on the second floor. After the job was done and I had paid him, I realized that there had been a miscommunication about the placement. Nonetheless he came back and made it right. I will definitely call him in the future.
Our Hot Water Heater went out on us with zero warning. The plumber we have used for a decade has retired and recommended McGoldrick. We could not have been happier with their service. Mark took my call, answered all of my questions and got us an appointment 48 hours later.
The plumber showed up and got the job done quickly and efficiently. Even the detail was appreciated. He was very cautious when removing the old unit to make sure he did not spill any of the water on our carpets. Once the job was completed, he walked me through how to the new unit would work and made sure I knew how to make any adjustments.
They were prompt with their arrival, their work was flawless and their price was fair.
We would highly recommend McGoldrick to anyone who is in need of a plumber!!!!!
On December 6th, Jamison Waterproofing removed an old sub pump system from my basement and installed a new drainage system and sub-pump. Unfortunately, they never plugged their sub-pump in and the basement flooded up to above the third step. After they emptied the basement of water, a plumber from McGoldricks plumbing came out on the bequest of Jamison Basement Waterproofing. He told me my hot water heater (which was submerged above the thermostat with water), and well water system were completely fine. I was busy and trusted the word of McGoldrick's. This was a mistake. Soon after, water began dripping from compression fittings in the system since the pressure tank was seized up off the ground almost 3 feet due to the flooding. A couple weeks later, I went to change the temperature on my hot water heater, and the housing had water in it and was completely eroded. After I saw the water, I searched online and called several plumbers who indicated it should have been replaced and made it seem like that was obvious. Then I checked the water softener and found it was filled with water and the resin tank was jacked up to one side. The entire water system and hot water heater has to be replaced. Still shocked I was lied to in this manner because it is hard for me to believe they were this incompetent as to really believe the water system and hot water were ok.
Just moved into home to find we had a gas leak. They are prompt, efficient, knowledgeable and so nice. Highly recommend. Kudos to John N. For a job well done. So appreciative!! Highly recommend!
Called to fix leak in first floor bathroom/mop sink. They came and were unable to find the leak, though it had leaked into basement. They changed a flapper in the toilet as well as a $162 service call. Luckily I went into the basement prior to leaving for thanksgiving after they were here and it was leaking everywhere. Leak not fixed. I shut the water off throughout the house to go away. They came back today and changed the fill pipe in same toilet and charged me Again for a service call which should have been fixed the first time. $332.50 to change $20 parts in a toilet. I would NOT recommend this company and would warn not to use them. They do not stand behind their work. They should have came back and fixed the problem and not charged a service fee ($162.50) for the second time.
Josh D.These guys are so quick to respond and great at communicating every step of the way. Every time I've needed plumbing work they've been transparent about the most practical and least costly options. Glad to have a reliable plumber to call for such an essential service!
Rachel F.Our toilet wasn't flushing right for awhile and we figured we probably needed a new one. Mark responded so fast, was very friendly and honest. He was affordable, did great work and got it done fast and hassle free! Thank you!!
My wife and I moved into our new house, only to find a massive pipe leak making water fall like rain in our basement as soon as we turned on any faucet. Dave was immediately responsive, communicated with us promptly at every step, and got the job done quickly as promised. He even identified another potentially disastrous problem with the plumbing behind our tub, though he never pressured us into spending more or doing more than what was necessary. I'll be going back to Dave in a heartbeat if I ever have any other plumbing needs.
I was impressed with the timely manner of the response and arrival for repairs. The communication was easy and accommodated my working at a job where I am unable to use my personal phone. The technician arrived earlier than expected after my mid-day request. Thank you! CR
