I was doing a project where I was tiling over an existing shower floor and needed a specific part and Lowes suggested I go to McGill Plumbing to see if they had it. When I went in to ask about a drain frame, the employee treated me as though I was an idiot. Instead of speaking to me to find out more about the issue and perhaps explaining an alternative or a reason why not to try to do it my way, he said, """"We don't carry those. We don't do it that way. We do it the right way."""" That was basically the gist of the conversation. Had he not acted annoyed and had been courteous and helpful, I very well might have asked McGill to come out and replace the pieces their """"correct"""" way. I instead went to Ferguson Plumbing and the gentleman explained the process and offered information and, in the mean time, gained a loyal future customer.

We had a 6 gallon an hour water leak that we couldn't find. John came out and tracked it down to the line between the meter and our house. He dug out the line, found the leak, replaced the line and added a new manual shut off valve at the house. All in the space of maybe 4 hours. I was very happy with the job. John was friendly, professional and communicative. The rate was very reasonable. I did mislead him at first thinking it was under the kitchen sink. John figured it out despite the goose chase. Much appreciated. Highly recommend.

The work seems to be fine so far, But I felt the plumber was milking the clock. At $115.00 an hour and the first 15 minutes is their travel time and you pay the full $115.00 for the first hour, OK. This person showed at 9:45 am and was in no hurry to do the job. Running out to the truck coming back smelling of cigarette smoke. I thought the job should be two hours at most. Cutting 2 copper pies and putting them back together and fix a drain pipe all in the same wall. The wall was open. $30.00 in parts 2 and half hour labor. $288.00 in labor. I feel the last half an hour was him milking my wallet because at 11:55 pm he was handing me a bill. So My math is half of $115 is $57.50 he charged me $58.00. The 50 cent will not make at break me. It tells me not to use these people again. And tell your friends

We have used McGill Plumbing over the past 7 years and we have had exceptional service. We had Mike L. out the past two days to help with a big leak problem under the kitchen cabinets. He identified the problem, and worked for 4 hours to tear out the plumbing and replace an old (55yr) drain pipe that was cracked. Mike is knowledgeable, pleasant, and very professional. He solved our problem and could not have been nicer. He is really a credit to McGill. Thank you Mike, you are terrific!

On a Monday I called Apollo Plumbing to have a toilet flange replaced. An appointment was scheduled for Wednesday between 9 & 11am. Tuesday they called the technician had some sort of problem and had to push the appointment to Thursday between 9 & 11am, Wednesday they said the technician was running late and pushed it to Thursday between 2 & 4. Around 5pm on Thursday I was called to see if the technician showed up; he did not. I told them not to bother coming at I would call someone hopefully more reliable. That is 1 week wasted waiting but at least it was a non emergency and I can cross Apollo off my list. I called McGill after 9am on Friday and Kyle the plumber was at my house by 3pm. We needed a toilet reseated. Kyle was marvelous, clean and efficient, he replaced the flange, leveled the toilet and resealed it around the floor. The price was excellent as well. Very professional and friendly. Thank you Kyle and McGill.

McGill Plumbing...awful! Not like it used to be! New staff doesn't know how to treat long-standing customers. Does not stand behind the Kohler products they sell! Will not contact Kohler or provide any assistance in dealing with a defect. After you purchase...you are on your own!! Stay away! Fortunately, I called Kohler myself and they were terrific...replacement no problem. But McGill wants nothing to do customer service!

Ok, had Mc Gill to the house a couple of day's ago. There was a major snafu from the previous owner having a deep sink & a washing machine drain line installed without traps. There was very little exposed piping or room to work. Cody studied the problem then went to work bringing everything up to code. It was a tough job he excelled at. While here he also added a shutoff valve & a new line for the refrigerator ice maker. Great worker, fair pricing. McGill Plumbing are the only ones I'd ever call. I'm a happy camper

Clogged sink on Good Friday afternoon. Ugh!!! Turned down by 2 other companies! Called McGill and they said they would be right out. Ryan got to our home within 15 minutes. He was friendly and professional. He found the problem very quickly (it wasn't just in the trap). He went over and above to make sure he got the whole clog out from way down in the pipe system. He put everything back together and made sure everything was working properly. He even cleaned up! I am very grateful to Ryan and to McGill Plumbing. I will call them first from now on!!!!
