The work was completed, but the owner's discourteous behavior, paired with the numerous excuses to delay work, earned a two-star rating. The owner's remarks, including his statement of irritation and having other jobs to do, were unacceptable. The skid steer ran over two of our blueberry bushes that would have produced berries this year, and the brickwork around our front garden was damaged, and when we expressed concern that our bushes might be damaged, we were told by the owner that ""bushes aren't a priority"". Although the sewage system he installed appears to be working, it took over seven hours to complete when we were told it would be done within two to three hours. Furthermore, the installation left the new exterior cleanout open, leaving it vulnerable to anything that may gain entry. The discourtesy extended to us as homeowners was unwarranted and unacceptable. Although the owner was not rude to my mother, who was paying for the service as a gift, his behavior towards me and my wife as the homeowners was inappropriately rude. We hired him based on a recommendation from a local plumber, but we would not do so again in the future. Unfortunately, he is one of the only options for septic work in the area, which he is aware of.
