We called McGhee Plumbing Electrical in Christiansburg to come for a heating repair. Mr.McGhee said he would come on Friday....no show, no call. Called him again on Monday....no call, no show. Called again Monday. He assured us he would come on Wednesday....no show, no call. It is very rude and unprofessional to conduct business in the manner. If you are reading this...shame on you for you for letting others believe and depend on you and you not even so much as calling to explain. Shame on you.

This guy looks perfectly honest. He took a lot of money from me and never returned the service. Charged me $1,100 and all I got out of it was a hot water heater! I would look somewhere else.

I just bought a new house and my heat pump was leaking into my house. Turns out that the outflow of my heat pump was blocked and I was going out of town and did not have time to fix it. I was recommended to McGhee and they fix the problem while I was away. Upon returning home, however, My heat pump was still leaking and when I looked, the outflow was still obstructed. I managed to fix the problem in 3 minutes but then I received a bill for $200! I called and explained the situation to them and they were very rude on the phone and would not even offer a discount since their work didn't fix the problem. Will never use them again.

I have used McGhee or I should have said tried to use them for our heat pump. The first time I had a bad evaporator,,he didn't have the part and said he would get it and be back tomorrow and it would cost about $800. well no call the next 3 days, we made several calls and never got a call back, we had no idea what was going on... when he did show up he said he had the wrong part but would be back tomorrow, well no show again, called several times no return call finally showed up the following week and repaired the problem for $1100.

The second time I had a leak in my condensation hose on my heat pump and water was spraying out. I called McGhee again, he said he would be out tomorrow, well guess what NO SHOW, no call, we called and left messages to call us no return call, following day NO SHOW, NO RETURN CALL after 2 messages....Left a finial message We called Acord Heating and Air, don't bother to come by.........
I MY OPINION THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR NOT RETURNING CALLS.

Used McGhee Plumbing is a locally owned business and was very satisfied. Unlike some other providers they are easy to contact and schedule service. Once service is scheduled they are prompt and arrive on time. The service they performed for me was finished quickly and at a very reasonable rate. They do quality works and I would use them again.
