We had a new system installed yesterday. Due to the fact our old system was 34 years old, they had to do some additional duct work. They ended up being at our house over twelve hours, but never once, did I hear any complaints. The three man crew was very professional, polite, and personable!

Had them come out to my daughters rental house and fix the plumbing on friday, said there was nothing wrong. The renters called the next day with the same issue, they came out on saturday and charged us $250 for the trip snaked the line. Total bill was $400. I guess that's how you make money nowadays. Bad business!

As a third generation builder and master electrician as well as being EPA 608 certified, I can tell you they are just another company disinterested in anything but overpriced work for unaware customers. I will never use them nor recommend their service. Of the three times I've called them they refused to come every time.(I live in Lawrence), citing ""no interest in that type of work"" (servicing a system because they didn't do the original install).

Company has an online request form. They called me in under 30 minutes and the technician contacted me within an hour. Tyler analyzed the situation, communicated with me each step of the way to let me know what was going on and what he needed to do to fix it. He did a great job of cleaning up after the work was complete. I am very satisfied with the work and will consider using McElroy's for any future needs.

Our furnace suddenly stopped working overnight and our home was freezing by morning. I began calling around first thing. The first 5 companies said they couldn't come out at all, and one said they'd only come out during overtime hours (higher rate). But then I spoke with Julie at McElroys who understood my urgency and had someone at my home in 4 hours. The tech showed up and did a thorough evaluation of my issues and was able to get us restored a few hours later. I am completely satisfied with the costs, and extremely thankful for the service they provided. Thank you McElroys - you're now my go to!

We recently upgraded our heating and air conditioning unit. The friendly McElroy crew showed up on time and ready to go to work. The installation was done professionally and the areas left clean. The technician explained the installation and operation of the unit completely. I have dealt with McElroy in the past and know they will support the equipment they install. I would highly recommend McElroy to anyone for their heating/air conditioning needs.

I had a bad experience with another company and my neighbor recommended McElroys. I had a plugged sewer that had been cleaned ""hastily"" and plugged again within 6 weeks. James, the plumber from McElroys got it open and it's been open for over a year. Have used them for a few other jobs and all the techs have been knowledgeable, courteous and explained everything well.

They overcharge for time starting from the time that they dispatch including if the driver goes on lunch on his way to your house. I was charged for an additional 30 minutes that was not spent on my property but rather on lunch (admitted as such by the driver). If you want to overpay for labor that was not used on your call then call McElroy's! Otherwise I would suggest calling out an honest company! I also asked for a detailing of all charges and they left I have a $40 charge that was charged materials. So I guess make sure you ask him if that is every single charge or if they have neglected to mention one.
