Though Mr. McDonald is pleasant to speak with there is too much going on with the company for them to even get out to see you. I spoke with him the day before they were supposed to come out & he stated he would call me in the morning to schedule a time in the afternoon. Nothing. Late afternoon I called him, no clue who I was nor the conversation that we had 18 hours earlier. I guess for us, we were lucky that it was on a semi-emergency & that we have more than 1 bathroom.
We have used them before with no real issues......but it will make me think twice before I will call them again, and that will NOT be any time soon

Do not go with this company especially if you have a ""small job"" -They will run the clock troubleshooting instead of going to the obvious so that they can charge you over time. In this case over two hours they raise their rates. The biggest complaint is that they do not guarantee the work!! ""The owner came to the door and said he wasn't working for free"" --They wanted to charge us AGAIN to find the problem they should found in the first place. They were recommended to us by a neighbor but I think it had gone well for them because they were going to do a big job for them. In my case when the ""professional plumber"" was going to come back he was supposed to come in the morning and came around noon since he had gone to another job instead. He really wasn't too worried about our satisfaction with the work or with his reputation. I saw on the BBB website he had one complaint closed- which could mean there are more customers wanting to post a complaint but have you seen the forms to fill out online for BBB? I think that discourages people from doing it. I see that Servicemagic doesn't have this guy screened probably because it has to be requested by the plumbing company. This is the Holiday/Christmas season and you would think that companies would be more willing to please their customers. Is there a website where military can take complaints about people taking advantage of our military people?
