Tried to con me by overpricing parts. He wanted 300.00 for a 50.00 electric switch. Not a trustworthy individual. I was suspicious when I heard the price for a simple water heater replacement. My AHS home warranty company alerted me to his corrupt business practices when I began checking on the reason he wanted to charge me above and beyond normal covered parts.. So glad I did a little investigating instead of believing in what amounted to a real con job. Steer clear of this shady con.

Robert McDade was Refered to me through American Homeshield to replace my water heater. We went without hot water for a week waiting on him to eventually show up. After telling me he needed a large amount of extra money to install my water heater that was under warranty by A.H.S. I called American Homeshield to enquire and they apologized to me as they found he was actually OVER charging me $300.00 for a electrical switch worth $50.00 and a 3 foot piece of hose worth 20.00 dollars he was charging me over 180.00 for. Simply put, McDade Mechanical makes money by overcharging people that he can con.

I have had a gas leak from my kitchen island since I moved in late last year. After 6 months and half a dozen different service technicians in my home the leak was still there...

The last two companies in my home wanted to tear up my walls and floor to attempt to locate the completely guessed leak location. Home warranty denied such work and wanted almost $2000 to start the job.

Robert from McDade Mechanical saved me this hassle. He could prove the leak was not from the pipes but from the stove equipment itself. I find it somewhat scary that I almost spent $2K for different company to do pipe repair for a leak that didn't exist there in the first place.
