In 1981, David McCoy established McCoy's Heating and Air, Inc. Raised in West Jackson, David is a proud Jackson native. During his senior year of high school, he began working part-time for a local plumbing contractor. It didn't take long for him to realize this was his calling. He enjoyed the challenge of working under houses and appreciated the decent pay. Many still recall his large service vehicle adorned with distinctive lettering. Both sides of the truck showcased the phrase ""The Real McCoy's Heating and Air Conditioning."" Competitors often teased him about the truck, but it made a lasting impression. Now, with more than 60 staff members, McCoy's Heating and Air, Inc. is celebrated for its outstanding service in West Tennessee.

Lanier, a Jackson native, was raised in this community. He is married to David McCoy's daughter and is devoted to keeping McCoy's Heating & Air a family business. His mission is to maintain its local ownership and operation in Jackson.
