With temperatures dropping, we decided to put those styrofoam covers on our outdoor spigots. That ""cheap"" $1.99 cover ended up costing over $100 because in the process, one of the pipes broke! To make matters worse, it happened at 5:15pm! So, we turned off the water and thought we would schedule something the morning. I called McCoy Plumbing and planned on leaving a message. To my surprise, Rick answered. He asked if it was an Emergency. I said ""no"", because we really could wait. Rick said it would be no problem to have his technician stop by on his way back to the shop TONIGHT. So sure enough, within an hour he arrived and fixed the broken pipe. The builder used pvc so I guess it was a matter of time before it broke. But the point of this YELP is to express how impressed we were with McCoy Plumbing. The tech was professional, thorough and he really took the time necessary to do the job the right way. He even showed us the broken pipe! The tech advised us it was no problem coming out tonight & that to McCoy, it was an emergency. Although the didn't charge us like it was. Great company, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I had a plumbing emergency recently. A leak in the wall of my bathroom. In the process of tearing out the vanity and wall, I made a small mistake and nicked a copper line which was then spraying water out into the bathroom. Yikes! and it was Saturday. I was pretty disparate. I called one place who said they were busy until Tuesday. They recommended I call McCoy. I'm so glad I did. Recognizing the urgency of the situation, they sent someone out same day. The person was super friendly, had to stay extra late because of some other complications, but didn't leave until I was back working again. I was very pleased with the service.

The Husband is always wary whenever we have to call in people to work on the house. He's a firm believer in ""that's how they getcha"". With this company, they don't getcha. They help ya. I truly believe that. Why?

I spoke with the owner who was willing to offer advice on things I could try before I had to call someone out, just in case we could handle it on our own.

The actual tech Josh that came out really knew his stuff. He was prompt and courteous. He showed me how he was fixing what we worked on. And answered my questions when I asked. He even looked at another issue and gave a quick opinion on how to get it taken care of.

To cap it all off, out of the 7 local plumbers I called, they were the most reasonably priced. They were able to work with my schedule to get someone out that day and there was no extra charge for doing so.

I am a huge fan of McCoy's Plumbing. Thanks for everything, y'all!

These guys are the BEST. I've been using them for years. Honest plumbers, great prices, fast responses. If you email them you'll get a response within 20 mins at most. The last time they came out they quoted me one thing, but were able to avoid going through the wall and fix the problem for a lot less! These guys are the best you'll find.

First time calling them and they did a great job. They actually showed up a few minutes early and got the job done quickly. They did not make a mess and I got a senior discount! the second time I called and called with no answer for several days. After all the work was done, I had trouble getting my emails returned. Customer service could be faster.

There was some mixed communication between the customer service reps and I, but other than that - everything went pretty smooth. We had a major pipe burst on our front yard. They had to install a new one. Installation work was good and by far the best price in town! They even patched up the yard once they were done.

Easy and laid back to work with and the best prices in town!

Answered phone or called back in a reasonable time. ( This is more than i can say for most businesses we've contacted since we moved to cornelius last month. Really shocking). Anyway, these guys are friendly and professional. Showed up when they were supposed to, did the job well, plumber Josh was polite and professional, price fair. We will use this company for all future plumbing jobs.

Had to remove a star because I called and scheduled a plumbing service and they did not call or show up. I called again and nobody returned my phone call.
