I took my garbage disposal in because it stopped working. The motor was running, but the clog was so bad that normal efforts to fix the jam weren't working. Rick worked on it for 30 minutes, patiently cleaned out the jam (it was underneath the gears where normal tools couldn't get to) and didn't charge me a penny. I always have great service there. McCoy employees are knowledgeable and easy to work with. Always have a great experience there.

The price they quote is not the price they charge you. If they think they can mark you up they will. Dishonest, find another plumber.

I've got nothing but good to say about McCoys. For many years they have assisted us with parts and information needed for repairs in our rentals. They have also done installations of gas piping and annual maintenance of our gas furnaces when we've called, always efficiently, and at a reasonable rate.
I've recently had a single arm pull down kitchen faucet set that was in the house when we purchased it, and was in need of a new spout unit. They advised me this might be obtained for free, if I called a certain phone number they provided, even though I was not the original purchaser of the faucet set. This one kind piece of advice saved us over $100. Even on tricky problems with very old plumbing fixtures, they have provided creative work arounds for us to keep our historic houses running.
Rarely do they not have what we need in stock, and if they don't have it, they order it in and let us know in advance what to expect for price and shipping, and how long it will take to get it.
If I'm stumped on how to repair something, they have willingly shared information that gives me the ability to understand what is needed, for instance, to test the thermostat on an older hot water heater, or to figure out whether it will be possible to convert a particular used propane instant hot water heater to natural gas.
We've noticed they weed out the junky quality stuff, and if you buy something from them, its going to be something that they have found works reliably. Products that have high failure rates do not remain in their offerings at the store, and they are frank about letting you know which ones are advisable if you are seeking dependability. This was particularly true when searching for dependable water heater elements..... and also true when seeking a toilet that would stand up to renters. Moscow Building Supply sold us toilets with high failure rates, albeit less expensive, and the ones we got there have required replacement of internal parts before a year was out, and have such thin enameling that renters scoured right through to the yellow clay body underneath in their attempts to remove water deposits. McCoys advised us on what would stand up to our rental needs, and we have been totally satisfied after taking their advice, they know what stands the test of time and they stand by their products.
In a world where businesses generally focus on making a buck off the customer, instead they retain the ethics of my grandfather's generation, they focus on serving.

Had a hot water heater which was about to rupture any day. It was over 20 years old. Called McCoy on Thursday and they came out the next day and installed a brand new hot water heater. I knew the install would be difficult, but they managed to come through and save us the expense of a flooded finished basement.

I needed ancient Kohler parts and McCoy had them! Pullman Building Supply sent me to McCoy. McCoy had the parts, told me what to do, and charged me less for the parts than an online retailer.

Very happy to get my taps fixed and my water back online thanks to McCoy.

Early June 2019 I called for a service from McCoy Plumbing company. I had a simple (inexpensive) thing to fix - get a water line for a new refrigerator. This morning (July 17th) they finally called and left a message. I was so happy and immediately called back - and after that nothing. I called just now and took my name off their list. The lady on a phone did not even wanted to listen to me. I have other big and small plumbing/ heating projects I need to be done, but I will never again consider contacting this company.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
They fixed a burst pipe that froze last winter. The receipt stated ""fixed broken pipe.""
My insurance wanted a receipt that said it froze.
I asked them to write another receipt that stated the pipe froze.
They really didn't want to. I called them first and got no response. I finally had to drive over and ask them in person.
The guy that fixed it almost refused to write a new receipt. He gave me several excuses to try to get out of it. I could see he was annoyed. He was ""trying to figure out how to write a new receipt that wouldn't mess things up on their end.""
He finally wrote a note on company letterhead.
I WILL NOT GO BACK YO MCCOY PLUMBING.

Went into McCoy's Friday 10/21 with a plumbing need of putting in a new kitchen faucet and plumbing under the sink. Said they could be out Monday and would I be around all day. 'Yes' I said I can be around all day, so by 3 p.m. I called they said they are still trying to make it out that day but could they come Tuesday if they didn't. I told them I had the Pink Tea to attend from 10 to 11:30 Tuesday so they said they would make it in the afternoon if they had not come Monday. Well they did not come Monday and here it is 2:20 Tuesday and NOTHING. Will keep you updated. By the way - McCoy had come highly recommended. 3:45 still NOTHING. So I finally called at 4 and they are not coming today. They can come tomorrow, but when I first set this up I told them that Wednesday was the only day they couldn't come. ARE YOU KIDDING ME - Please don't use this company. Customer service, keeping their word nor integrity evidently doesn't mean anything to them.
