I began using McCall's Plumbing for about 5 years at multiple properties, one of which is served by residential wells which needed repair. McCall's was recommended by a local pump supplier. My first experience with them was to repair a pump/pressure tank which they did well. I have subsequently used them to replace hot water heaters, install dishwashers, replace valves and faucets, etc. and they have not disappointed me. On occasion, they have had to delay a service call because they encountered a problem that took longer to repair at another customer or someone called with a water emergency. They came as soon as possible after they resolved the issues and did an outstanding job for me.

I can't say enough GOOD about this company. The response time was more than satisfactory and the professionalism with which the calls were handled, impressive. They installed a new pump for us a few months ago. Our house is very old so we weren't expecting much. When problems did arise, they came out as often as necessary and always with a positive attitude and friendly smile. Thank you Jim, Sean and Charlie for getting the job done whatever it took and sticking with us.

Do not use this plumber. There are equally skilled plumbers out there that are WAY more reliable. I had several issues with McCalls Plumbing. The cost for installing a clean out valve and line inspection was over $1000! Why so much? Because instead of digging up where all the other valves were (mine was """"missing"""") they decided to dig up my driveway pavers for no reason. Only after that did they decide to look in the logical place. Then, once they fitted the valve, they didnt bother to fix the pavers! They just left them there in the driveway. I had to personally call Jim and ask him to come back and fix them because it looked like a warzone. Did he come back and try? Kinda? I had to hire a professional to come out and fix it. After all this, Jim said he would get me the pictures and videos of the inspection. Never did. I called him once a week for over 2 months and continued to receive a run around. Different excuse every time. Camera was on the fritz, the camera was in the truck, the stills are off the camera but I need to clean them up, just every lame excuse you can think of. Do yourself a favor and don't do business with this company. They're a small time gig and cannot be counted on to deliver what they promise. Rip off with poor service.

Terrible service. Twice I've called to ask why the appointments Jim's office made with me weren't kept. Jim McCall apologized, and said he would make sure to come over to my home himself. Hurricane Matthew was to hit on the day we made the appointment, so he said he would come the following Saturday. I said no problem. I'm still waiting on him. That was almost a month ago. Now I'm reading one of the other reviews, and I see it's the same issue: Jim doesn't show up, nor his employees. Don't bother. Get another plumber!

Very impressed with this professional company! They get the job done whatever it takes and do it with a great and cheerful attitude. Especially impressed with response time and very fair billing. Highly recommend.

Jim didn't show up for appointment. he never called. Secretary was kinda rude too. not sure what happened, but he should have called when he couldn't make it.
